Absolutely do not recommend this Apa hotel. I got bed bug bites from the room I stayed in. The room was also not very clean when I first arrived (which was quite unexpected for Japanese hotel quality). I tried asking for a new room, but they said they were unable to provide another room due to the hotel being fully booked. But at the same time, I wished they had spare rooms available for occasions like this.

This is the 3rd time I've stayed on this property and I feel like its gotten worse over time. The bed sheets and room were cleaned but still appeared dirty and the sheets had stains, the area around the hotel doesn't bother me much coming from NYC so if you don't like a busy noisy area it probably isn't for you.

Stayed here for two nights, this is our to go hotel whenever we’re in Shinjuku. Location is great and closed to pretty much everything. Our room was dated, the bed was lopsided and uncomfortable to sleep on. Outside of the hotel is getting to be more dirty, noisy, and many homeless people hanging out and sleeping outside. It’s much different than it was many years ago. There’s a lot of trash too.

Good hotel but tiny rooms. Couldn’t move around without bumping into something! Staff couldn’t speak English and was not helpful at all. Finding directions, restaurant recommendations, how to get to train stations…was questions that they couldn’t help at all.

In a busy fun area , walkable to golden Gai and Shinjuku station, under 10 min. Rooms were spotlessly clean and so was the onsen. Easy check in and express check out . Reception was able to speak English 😊
