The room is very small and we need to put one big luggage on top of the other. But the location is very good and it is close to subway station and get get around very easily. The neighborhood has good food places we explored.

Great Budget Hotel in a Quiet Local Neighborhood

I’ve stayed here at least 15 times over the last ten years. It’s a great budget option for those who don’t mind smaller, no frills rooms. I like that they have a spa upstairs and it’s 2 minutes walking distance to Yamanote station. The staff here is always accommodating. Highly recommend!

Im glad I booked this Hotel its right next to the train staion and so convenient, many restaurants and bars, 7 eleven, pharmacy the hotel is really nice and clean friendly staff would definitely return and stay at Apa Hotel Sugamo.

This hotel was easy to checkin to. The staff were helpful, the rooms were clean and well kept. The only negative we had which was easily turned into a positive was that each day they provided new towels and robes and toiletries but didn’t automatically remove the old ones which in a 10m2 room begins to take up room quickly. This was easily resolved. Would highly recommend, just beware, the double room is still very small. Only 10m2, can’t have suitcases open.

Not bad for Price

The room was overall not too bad. the Onsen was very clean and it was relaxing. My only issue was when I first arrived. The room had the smell of cigarette smoke although I was sure that the room was not allowed to be smoked in. It took a few hours with the AC on and the air purifier before most of the smell was gone. The Hotel was easily accessible, and There were many shops near by to get food, snacks and drinks. The Restaurant provided an awesome breakfast buffet every morning that was delicious and filling and helped keep me energized the whole day. It was also conveniently located near the Yamanote Line which gave access to all of Tokyo's most visitor friendly spots.
