I have stayed here many times. The only complaint I have is the 10 am checkout time. I have stayed in many hotels throughout the world and have never experienced such an early checkout time.

Location is 10 mins walking distance from Ueno station, even closer to Ueno Hirokuji subway station. It is alright. Nearby is not that crowded, and quiet. Room is standard size in Tokyo, but at least you can open your suitcase without problem. Cleaning service is provided every the third day, unless you put "clean my room" sticker on the door before 9am. The only disadvantage is that the hotel does not provide laundry machine.

January 2025 Stay

Hotel is coveniently close to Ueno park and market. Its also a several minutes of walk to Akihabara. Bed space is enough for me. Cleanliness is same as always. Will book this hotel again when i stay in Tokyo

Great location

Second time staying at an APA property and consistently good quality. Staff helpful and friendly. Beds comfortable and lots of Toiletry amenities. Great location with lots of restaurants, metro stop, and fast food nearby.

Perfectly adequate for the price

Stayed in large hotel rooms when my wife and kid were with me but switched to this small roomed hotel after they left. Yes, it’s a noticeable drop in quality and space compared to the other places I stayed but it is also much cheaper and perfectly adequate for the price. My biggest gripe (if I had to come up with something) is the single tiny pillow on the bed. Seriously small.
