Room: capsule itself was a decent size. It offered a locked safe, clothing hangers, small bench/storage space. Bedding was a bit hard but just a tip, I folded the bedding and laid on top of it to soften. Hotel: I stayed in the female only dorm and felt very safe. The hotel offers roof top dining (as you cannot eat in the pod) or you can sit at the cafe during the closing hours. The amenities were very clean. Location: great location on the quiet side of Shibuya. A short 5 min walk to Shibuya station. Close to many shops including Konbini’s. Overall: this is a great budget accommodation. Felt safe and secure. And would definitely recommend and return.

This place is a very honest establishment. Clean and friendly. The staff is incredibly helpful. A great place to stop by and sleep while enjoying Shibuya. The cafe was great. Wish the sharing area was bigger but overall I loved this place. No secret check out times or weird rules. Straight up honest and great service and clean

As an FYI, the books available are mainly not in English. The dorm was quite small but cosy. It easily became crowded though when people were rummaging through their luggage. The bathrooms and toilets are nice but don't provide many amenities, just body wash (maybe shampoo and conditioner) but you have to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. The area was nice, close to the main part of Shibuya. The crossing was a walkable distance. There's also a cafe attached to the hotel, and the hotel gives a voucher. Overall, a solid stay if you're focusing on convenience and are planning to spend more time outside than in. But keep in mind that some amenities you'll have to bring for yourself. Even then, the drugstores are close by if needed.

So good you won't want to leave!
Great stay and perfect location. Ended up extending for 2 more nights because I loved it so much. The staff was amazing and made me feel line I was part of the family during their Christmas party. The bahn mi was my favorite food during my 16 days in Japan. Go figure! Thanks for everything.

Place is conveniently located in shibuya. Unit is not too cramp. The pillow is nice to sleep at however the cushion in the bed may need some extra later as it it is a but thin.

It was my first time staying in a capsule hotel! Capsules were very spacious and comfortable. The blanket and pillow were great. Restroom area was always well taken care of. I’m glad I was able to book a women-only floor as I couldn’t find many in the area! The surrounding area is also great as it’s easy to find everything nearby.

I absolutely loved my stay at BookTeaBed Shibuya. It was my first time staying in a capsule hotel and I was surprised how comfy, quiet and cozy it was. The bed was comfortable and there was space to leave a large suitcase in front of my locker. The staff were kind and friendly. Fresh towels were given daily. The area is really convenient, is close to pretty much everything you could need. It’s very close to Shibuya crossing which was cool. Would love to stay here again.

Firat time here. It's clean and the pod is actually more spacious than other capsule hotel I tried. It's walking diatance to shops, restaurants and bars. Mizuki is very is very helpful, friendly and attentive!
