Close to train station, restaurants and shopping area. Room is so small but it's Tokyo what do you expect. Very clean and staff at the front desk is great.

This place is centrally located right in the heart of anime in ikebukuro which we like. Overall the room is dated and the bed is soft. The lights in the room are rather dim. The washroom is standard but a deeper tub and greater amenities inside with lotion, face oil, face wash, cleanser, and your standard body wash, conditioner and shampoo. Overall the two day stay was good for what we paid. Second time was great, staff at front desk spoke fluent English and was easy to understand.

Canadians here. I've been in Tokyo many times, in many hotels, this by far has been my favourite mostly because the level of service and kindness from the staff is amazing. The rooms are big by Tokyo standards but could use some upgrades (although that would probably impact the affordability of it).

I've stayed at this location 3 times now during my trips to Japan for work and everytime it's been great! I love the Ikebukuro area and Sunshine City mall. The staff was the same in 2024 as it was 1 year later and they even remembered me from the year prior. They were all so nice and very welcoming. The smoking section is nice and comfortable and has a covered section for during rain. The rooms are nice and big. It's also nice that there are 2 conbinis right downstairs. But the food options nearby are also very good. 10/10 on all 3 of my stays here.
