This hotel is right in the middle of the actions - so location is everything here. The hotel itself is a bit dated and the rooms are small (this is downtown Tokyo after all). And it is expensive - at least during my stay. Staff are all excellent! While the general area is quite safe, there were just so many of those "hustler" guys on the street trying to get you into a bar or something. Just something to be mindful of if that's not your thing when staying here.

This hotel felt very central - it was easy to get anywhere! The hotel was clean and the staff waa great. I see a lot of reviews saying they didnt feel "safe" and there were weird men hanging around... well not in the hotel - but the hotel is on the edge of the red light district - so the men are just doing their business asking other men to enter for their girls. I felt safe and was never approached aggressively.

This property was fantastic for us, right in the heart of Shinjuku and directly overlooking Golden Gai. We were able to easily find great places to eat, drinks, and fun things to do just by stepping outside of the hotel. Super easy to navigate around and just a few minutes within walking distance to different malls, high end shopping, and most importantly; Godzilla overlooking the city. The staff here was fantastic, they helped us out with any questions we had, and went above and beyond helping us out with our missing luggage delivery; thank you again! The hotel was spacious, very clean, and offered anything you'd need to make your stay enjoyable. We look forward to staying here again soon.

Great location with plenty of dining and nightlife close by. The team at the front desk was always very helpful and professional. The room was comfortable and very well insulated — did not hear any noise from the streets or neighbors.

Poor Hotel
The rooms had a bad smell. They smelled like people smoked cigarettes there for many years. The design is outdated furniture old.Small bed not comfortable for 2 adults attached to the wall. The street the hotel is on has x rated bars. We had to shorten our trip because of flight cancellation slept there 5 nights and refused to refund the sixth - becase thats their policy for booking via hotels.com.

Great spacious rooms. Fairly quiet but even 14 floors up we could still hear the street below on a Saturday night in the early hours. Rooms are aging gracefully but need more power points in the bedroom /lounge and some updating of bathroom and WiFi routers. Staff were helpful and friendly. A QR code checkin left us wondering if our data was safe or being sold on Instantly to pop advertisers. A comfortable stay but not the best area of Tokyo anymore. Edgy and rougher than we would have liked. The 24 hour party feeling has take. Hold. If that’s your thing then knock yourself out. We found right outside some dodgy characters offering everything from free drinks of we went to the club they pointed to ( a scam) though to harder and softer drugs on offer. No thanks and a shame to see the area go down with massively increased tourism.
