Lively nightlife location. I thought the room would be nicer and that there would be some perks for $500/night. Room was ok but nothing special. No lounge or anything. The hotel is next to 4 train tracks. Hotel starts on the 18th floor. Another hotel and businesses share the same building. We were on the 22nd floor and still heard the trains. Glad I brought my earplugs. I assume higher floors would be quieter. Had a room with 3 good beds. Staff very helpful by confirming my JAL flight.

Brilliant choice
The Groove Hotel was a fantastic choice. The location is perfect for seeing Tokyo. The reception was efficient, quick and extremely helpful. The views were outstanding. The bed was very comfortable as were the wonderful night shirts provided by the hotel. Strongly recommended and would return.

Shinjuku is a crappy neighborhood for sophisticated visitors - and shopping as it’s full of young partygoers- a lot of drunks and young girls posing - doing TikTok’s’ or asking for money to pose with you in their weird baby doll get ups - and fast food restaurants. However, if you like this then this is your neighborhood!

11/10. This hotel provided so many comforts and amenities (free water bottles and help yourself carts) for free. This has been the best hotel experience I’ve ever had, everything was so accommodating. The only inconvenience was having to take two separate elevators to reach my floor. Other than that, everything was clean, perfect, respectful, and so comfortable.
