Location was very convenient, serviced by a number of train stations on different lines all within walkable distance. There were some beautiful blossoms outside too, which made for some nice photo moments. The hotel itself was decent, service was good, cleanliness was fine, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Loved the public bath, definitely recommend it for those staying. The hotel breakfast was also delicious, we tried both Japanese and Western styles and loved both of them. The laundry room only has three machines so it’s a bit hard to use during busier times, especially with each wash and dry cycle taking up to two hours or more. The machines also smelt a bit funky, so our clothes smelt a bit funky after washing. That was probably our only complaint.

Staff here are wonderful! So friendly and helpful and will try to accommodate your every need. We visited other hotels in Kyoto and Osaka during our stay with a lot more amenities but still none compared to the overall experience we received at hotel Kazusaya just because the staff were so amazing! It’s also very convenient walking distance to akihabara for day shopping or nearby train stations
