Always stay this hotel when coming to Tokyo. A minute to the train station and 30 minutes by train or bus to haneda airport

Small hotel just enough to stay, not much to do and the service was average. The area could feel a little sketchy but since we are a group we would hang out together. Has laundry services only on the first floor. Don’t expect rooms to be cleaned daily. A lot of smokers outside. I wouldn’t come back to this area. The city itself is nice.

Front staff members are extremely attentive and courteous. We stayed for a total of 9 nights at this hotel. Bed is a bit small for our 6'3" son but he said the bed was comfortable. It's right next to the Kamata Station with MANY restaurants and shops nearby. If the washers and dryers are a bit bigger then it'd be perfect. 4 adults/2 room

Web page is inaccurate. It says there is daily housekeeping, while in fact there is no housekeeping until after three days. Also, there is no free luggage storage after checking out. I discussed these problems with the manager and he agreed there is a problem. Unfortunately Hotels.com provides no way to report problems on Web page except for providing a mixed review.

This hotel is perfect if you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The area is full of convenient stores and restaurant. I highly recommend to shop at don quijote there and not in shibuya or shinjuku. The price is way better

Hotel Amanek was in such a sweet spot as there were so many different restaurants, shopping mall, and even a Donqi quijote quite literally 30 seconds away. The rooms were clean and spacious, bathroom was spacious. However, there were only two washing machine and two dryers for the hotel. JUST TWO! We had to queue up and wait for the previous guest to complete their laundry. Also, we had to pay 100 yen to get a detergent which was quite funny. We didn't have to pay for detergent in other hotels. Also, the ironing boards and pyjamas were not available in each floors. We had to obtain it from the reception. Apart from that, overall experience was quite good!

The place was very convenient. Close to Don Quijote, train station, and dining places. The places around the hotel are outdated but still very safe to walk around. The room was quite small, but it has everything. We love the onsen and complementary pj. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They have coin washing machine and dryer as well as a restaurant on the second floor.

This was our second holiday in Japan. This hotel was close to the train station which was a blessing after logging in 15-20K steps a day. The front counter staff was always friendly and accommodating. My wife complained that the hotel lacked a water filling station. We didn't take advantage of the Bath House but I hear it's quite the experience. We had 2 suites for a family of 4.....1 suite would not have been sufficient....There is not much room to walk around..... crammed. We found our hotel to be quiet and there was daily cleaning and Towel service if needed. There was a magnetic sticker system where you would decide how much cleaning services you required.... daily. Overall....we were very happy with our stay and we highly recommend this hotel.
