It’s a nice hotel next to the train station. One staff member had a rude tone, but the rest were amazing and helpful. I’d recommend staying if you need a place to sleep and plan on using public transportation

Nice hotel very close to Kamata station. Nothing particularly note worthy about the immediate area but as it is so close to the train station it is easy to go to the more better areas of Tokyo, though a minimum of 20mins from anywhere. Room was very small unfortunately and at night the lights were not enough to sufficiently brighten the space. No dining available during our stay

The hotel is actually nice and clean. Check in was quick as well. The location in terms of proximity to stores and restaurants as well as the train station is great as well. The only thing that I find an issue is that the surrounding areas being businesses as well does not seem to care about proper trash disposal. However this is not something the hotel has a control of so I will no hold it agains them.

Convenient location

Stayed at Asyl in Kamata with my family. They got a large family room and I got a single room. Hotel was madden and clean. Staff are mostly non Japanese. While the room was comfortable, I was surprised there was no ice machine anywhere for guest use. I had to buy ice at a nearby convenience store. Only one elevator so wait can be long when cleaning staff are using. Location was close to JR Kamata Station, restaurants and shopping.
