Perfect location with an awesome view!

First and foremost, the location is PERFECT. Right across the tracks and road from Ameyoko, so it's easy to dip out and hit an izakaya, start exploring, and grab something from several conbinis right at your doorstep. The view from the window was stunning -- you can see all the way to Shinjuku, and to the mountains when it's clear out. The condition of my room was a little worn in some places, but overall comfotable enough. When I checked in, they told me they had to clean my room's air conditioner the next day, and would be there to do so sometime between 8am-5pm. Since I was planning on getting up early and going out anyway, I didn't mind, but had I wanted to sleep in due to jet lag or something, that would have been stressful and inconvenient. Not sure why they couldn't have done it between the 10am checkout and 4pm check in on the day I arrived, but whatever. Other than that, everything was great, efficient, and did I mention the location was perfect? Just a short walk to Ueno or Okachimachi stations. I would stay here again for the ease, the convenience, and the view!

The hotel rooms are situated from 20th floor onwards. Making it one of the tallest building in the area with unblock view. You can enjoy scenic city view from your room or from the breakfast dining area. The breakfast is good, serving a good mixture of Japanese and western food.

Amazing views!

Clean, modern, professional, with an absolutely spectacular view. English is accommodated. This hotel is affordable and therefor light on amenities, but I got the room for the view, and it did not disappoint. Big beautiful window right at the foot of the bed, which I never got tired of. Looked forward to coming back to my room every night.

The hotel was great overall, but we did have a weird issue with the power in the room. You need to keep your key card in a slot by the door. This will turn on all the lights and the wifi, but what they don't tell you anywhere in the room is that there is a small button on the headboard labeled room 1 or 2 that will allow you to turn the main lights off while keeping power to outlets and WiFi. We almost had to sleep with the lights on until we checked reddit

convenient location, need to improve overall clean

location and breakfast is excellent, room size is good and spacious. However, the room is not clean, carpet with stain, toilet with stinky smell. My family especially dislike the that only fitted sheet but no quilt cover is provided, kind of not clean. Room service is provided every 3 days, so guests put all used towels and garbage outside the rooms, looks very messy.

People were really nice and accommodating. Bed was a little hard for us being from the US, but that’s pretty standard when outside the country, so nothing bad against them. They provided many supplies if needed like toothbrushes, razors, hygiene supplies, shower supplies, etc. great location for just walking outside and finding shopping, food, transit nearby.
