Overall it was a nice hotel with a convenient location. The area is quiet in the evening, which is nice, but there are still lots of restaurants and a DONKI nearby. Our only concern related to the check-in process â instead of allowing people to check in a little early if rooms were ready, they made everyone wait until 3 pm. This created a queue which does not seem efficient for them or their guests. Other than that, service was very good and all the staff were pleasant and helpful.
This hotel was off-the-charts excellent on every measure. Also a good price on hotels.com. When we checked out and were about to summon an uber, the concierge asked if we would like him to check on a taxi price (most ubers in tokyo are taxis anyway). He did and negotiated a better price, then took our bags to the taxi and helped driver load them and us in. The Hotel Metropolitan Edmont was just awesome...

Liked: Staff & service
The rooms are very small, and I wasnât too happy with the overall experience
Best hotel. Excellent location with close walking distance to JR lines and regular Tokyu lines. The staff are all pretty fluent in English. Comfy beds and rooms are decently spacious for Japan standards. Luggage shipping services available, laundry rooms available with timers on the TV. This place is my go-to for Tokyo hotels. Its close to lots of food locations and Tokyo Dome as well. Sad part is I noticed a lot of foreign tours booking here as well so they fill up fast :(. Would highly recommend booking early.
We enjoyed our stay, the area is not touristic but local and is well connected and has lots of restaurants. The room size is small but pretty good for Tokyo. Just wish the table had been foldable to make up some space.
Fantastic 6 night stay at this hotel. Very good location with many restaurants in the area and close to subway access. Hotel was modern clean with many dining options. Room was spacious, bed was super comfortable, very quiet. Overall we really loved our stay and highly recommend the hotel.
This was our first trip to Japan, so we did a lot of research on where to stay. We were very impressed with everything that this hotel had to offer. Great buffet, comfortable beds,
and room comfort. The staff were extremely pleasant and most spoke English. We will definitely be back.
We chose to stay here as it was the hotel where our 10 day tour started from. Our stay was a separate booking. We moved to a different room when the tour began. Our room was quiet and comfortable with two pillows on each bed, dressing gowns and pjs and plenty of amenities and a coffee machine with capsules (our next room did not have a coffee machine). We ate in the bar and had cocktails. This is not open on Sundays evenings! Breakfast buffet is OK but $$. There is a 7/11 store nearby. The hotel is a nice hotel and we stayed at others which were more expensive and less comfortable than this during our Japan stay. There are a variety of eating options in the area within walking distance. The train station is 10 min walk if you exit on the right sideâŠ. Make sure you have your gooogle maps sorted if you are coming from Narita so you do come out at the right exit.
The location is great. There are multiple train stations surrounding the hotel which makes it great to jump to any surrounding suburb in less then 15 minutes. There is a family mart directly across from the hotel. The hotel staff was so lovely across all areas. The room was large enough for us and the bathroom was well stocked and also had a bathtub. The beds were extra comfy too. Thank you xx
Great hotel in an easy to get to location. Youâre only 5 minutes walk from the hotel to the nearest train station. Room was good and hotel staff were friendly and approachable. Staff came in and changed the sheets and towels every day as well as have complimentary water bottles in the room that were re stocked every day. Only thing I would say that I disliked about the room was there were some hairs left over from the previous people in the room and the air conditioner made a rattle noise sometimes at night that we were able to fix temporarily.
Very large hotel about 6 minutes walk to the closest subway.
The rooms are pretty small as is usually the case with Japanese hotels; maybe an upgrade would help.
There wasn't much in the way of a wardrobe to unpack but luckily here there was space under the bed for suitcases which wasn't the case anywhere else we stayed.
Everything was clean and the staff were very friendly.
It's not very central to most of the tourist things but easy to jump on the metro from the nearest station and get around.
I was in Tokyo visiting my son who was doing a semester at a Japanese university. Hotel Metropolitan Edmont was centrally located, near a large train station. It was very clean and the staff were exceptional. Hotel Metropolitan Edmont was the perfect central point for my 2 week stay in Tokyo.
