Enjoyed my stay here. Great staff, very clean. The on-site laundry & currency exchange are very convenient. Subway close by. Tourist sites are also short taxi drive away if you prefer. Wish there were more drawers for folded clothes. Could also use access to trash bin for larger items; although I easily handed bigger trash to staff who took care of it. Nonetheless, great hotel and I would stay again. Highly recommend.

The room was clean and comfortable. Wifi was free, they kept a supply of free waterbottles stocked. I loved that they provided a laundry room so that guests could wash their own clothes. The room was small by American standards but this is Japan so this was to be expected.

We had a great stay at Hotel Metropolitan Edmont. There were 4 of us, two adults and two teenagers, and we stayed at the family room that had 4 beds for four nights. It was very roomy and comfortable. What made the room even better was that the toilet and the shower were separated, so our family got ready much faster. The location was quiet and conveniently located across the street from a FamilyMart and a 7-11. The JR line was less than a 10-minute walk, while another local station was just down the street. Getting to the commercial parts of Tokyo, like Shibuya and Shinjuku was really easy. The service is A++, but that's safe to say for all that we've experienced in Japan. I would stay at the Hotel Metropolitan Edmont again and would recommend it to anyone who prefers not to stay in the busier parts of Tokyo.

Wonderful

The room was beautiful with a wonderful view. Area was clean, safe, walkable, with many little stores around. Beds were extremely comfortable and bath room - I used the jacuzzi every day! Breakfast was a little pricey for the offerings, but delicious nonetheless and the girls filled up on the variety of breads and some breakfast meats. Love that there was espresso available upon request. Easy to get to train station. Would absolutely stay again!

Would not stay here again

So first of all on a good note, the staff at this hotel were genuinely kind and helpful, and the location is convenient. There’s a Starbucks nearby and a small mall-like area connected to the property with a few restaurants and shops, which was handy. However, I just cannot get over the air conditioning situation in the Garden Tower. It shuts off automatically in the middle of the night — and we were told this happens in every room in that tower. In the heat of summer, this made it almost impossible to sleep. My son woke up crying and soaked in sweat. It was a really unpleasant experience. And again, this is just me, but if I get woken up in the middle of the night, if it’s very hard for me to go back to sleep, which made the next day of sightseeing awful. We moved to a room in the Main Tower, where the A/C does not shut off — but it’s still not strong, and the room was uncomfortably warm. I highly recommend asking for a fan if you stay here. The Main Tower does have an espresso machine and seems more updated overall, so if you’re going to stay at this hotel, definitely pay a little more to be in the Main Tower. Personally, I would never stay here again, but that’s just my experience. If A/C performance matters to you, especially in summer, I’d look elsewhere. I understand conserving energy and perhaps the air conditioning should shut off between the hours of 10 AM and 4 PM when people are less likely to be in their room, but this was unacceptable.
