We paid for a Premium Bayside Room with 2 twin beds. They said they don’t have any with 2 beds, only 1 double bed. If we wanted bayside with 2 twins we would have to pay an additional $90! They gave us a regular room with 2 beds on 9th floor. Very disappointing. Overlooking buildings. Rooms have a weird smell and are very small. Bathroom is smaller than cruise ship bathrooms. Bath towels are thread bare and hardly enough to dry a 124lb body! No safe in the room. Toilet paper is so thin it just breaks.

The staff was exceptional! Super nice, friendly and helpful! Every time I had a question or concern, they addressed it quickly. Overall it is a clean hotel in a quiet area with 4 different train stations within a five to ten minute walk. It is a very new area and is among the most modern parts of the city! If you are looking for older Japanese culture I would suggest staying elsewhere! But if you like modern Japan; then this could be a good fit! I only had a couple of complaints with regards to the room and breakfast. First off the room looks a lot bigger in the pictures. But for Japan the size is good. The coffee maker in my room leaked like crazy! They sat it right next to the tv and it’s plug that is built into the cabinet it sits on! There was water everywhere! They also need to put sheer curtain on a set of rods behind the bedroom curtains. I wanted the view in the afternoon but not to have people in the hotel across the way to be seeing into my room! If this hotel got renovated it would be 5-stars all the way! The breakfast was just okay. It was nothing special. Overall I think it is a good hotel for the money.

The area that the hotel is in is wonderful, it’s quiet, clean and safe. The breakfast had huge selections each morning(6 night stay) and was constantly being replenished. The rooms, although small, had everything we needed. The free amenities were a great addition to the overall comfort of our stay.
