1) Severe noise disturbance at night On the first night, several people were speaking loudly in the hallway for an extended period around midnight. It was extremely disruptive and made it very difficult to rest. 2) Elevator inefficiency The elevators were extremely slow, and we often had to wait a long time, which was especially inconvenient.

It’s in a fairly convenient location. The overall facility and rooms are clean, good breakfast, and well maintained. Staff also provides you with anything you might have missed to pack. The only negative is how small the rooms are. There’s no place to even properly open bags and take out clothes. But to be fair, the other hotels in Tokyo in general are much worse from what we researched.

Virtually no English spoken at front desk, so good luck with that if u do not speak Japanese, 1st time I’ve experienced this at an international city anywhere! I don’t think most travelers speak Japanese so it would seem to be necessary at the desk. Otherwise, just fine, great location for Tsukiji mkt. and a low key comfortable vibe.

Worth it!

Koko Hotel was lovely for out first night in Tokyo. The staff at the front desk were welcoming and friendly and answered any questions we had with patience and kindness. The room was clean, had good space for a family of four, and comfortable. It was close by to lots of attractions, dining options, convenience stores and a park for kids (which was awesome).
