The front desk took forever. I don’t understand why there was always a long line and why everything was so complicated. The room was spacious and quiet. But the bathroom is outdated and there was mold in the shower. The bars on the 45th and 47th floor were great and food was good too. Overall a good hotel but overpriced and not really service oriented. Whenever you need something you will be send to another counter or staff member, which was really annoying. Need coins for the laundry room? Get in line at the front desk for 20min. Need an umbrella? The clerk will send you to the porter.

This was my first time to tokyo and the staff and experience at keio plaza was truly unforgettable. I had a very difficult airplane trip into tokyo, but the hotel staff and amenities help me turned a poor start into a great finish.

We stayed at Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo as a family of four—two adults and two kids (14 and 5)—in a triple room setup. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out. A porter greeted us and brought our bags up to the room, which was a welcome touch after stepping off the airport limousine bus that conveniently stops right at the hotel. The hotel itself is large, with several restaurants and even a 7-Eleven on-site, but it never felt overly crowded. The location was excellent for our needs—centrally located in Shinjuku, right near the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building (which has a great free observation deck) and a park nearby for the kids to stretch their legs. The train station is about 700 meters away, but the covered walkway makes it an easy and comfortable stroll—even with kids and luggage. The room was spacious, with three beds and still plenty of space for suitcases and moving around without feeling cramped. One huge perk was the Good Neighbor Shuttle to Tokyo DisneySea. It made our Disney day super convenient—no navigating trains or transfers. Just be sure to reserve your spot ahead of time (it’s free!). Overall, Keio Plaza was a fantastic base for our Tokyo adventures—great service, space, and location. Would absolutely stay here again.

We decided to spend extra for the Club Access rooms for our last stay in Japan, and I'm really glad we did. The club access lounge is exclusive and has an amazing 45th floor view of Tokyo. It's also directly across the street from the government building with the graphics that lights up at night. My friend stayed at the same hotel prior but did not pay for the club access rooms. I heard their rooms were older and not as nice, but since we selected the rooms with club access, the rooms were updated and very nice. They had L'occtaine bathroom amenities exclusive for these room types. One of my complaints is that it's located in the downtown business part of Shinjuku so it's a little on the quiet side, but it's only a few short blocks away from the massive Shinjuku station that connects you to everything. As you get closer to the station, there's a lot more restaurants and shops. Directly around the hotel itself is a little more bare and quiet. That could be a pro for some travelers. My other complaint is the laundry room. The hotel is massive and is separated by two towers. There's only one laundry room for the entire hotel and it happened to be located in the different building from the club access rooms. There are only (5) washer/dryers. Everyone does their laundry in the evening because everyone is exploring during the day. We ended up starting our laundry at 1am and had to return around 3:30/4am to pickup. I wish they had more machines available throughout the property.
