Great location with easy walking distance to Ueno Station, Ueno Park and restaurants. Hotel bistro served excellent food. Room was impeccably clean and well laid out. Hotel staffers were courteous, competent, and professional. Highly recommend and will definitely return on my next visit to Japan.

Nohga Hotel Ueno was a convenient but expensive stay in Tokyo. Train connections were good, and the train stations, including the Skyliner to Narita Airport are a few minutes walk away. There are some dining options nearby, but for vegetarian choices, you might need to search farther away. The room amenities were okay, but we would have liked to have had coffee in the room. The bed was comfortable; the AC was effective; and the room was very quiet.

Family of 4 (kids 10 and 12) really enjoyed Nohga Hotel in Ueno neighborhood as a base for our first visit to Tokyo. Hotel was quite nice and staff was very helpful and kind, and went above and beyond to resolve a small issue that they (not us) identified with our room before our arrival. Laundry machines in common area was a big plus. Breakfast was really good. Japanese and Western w a decent buffet too. Others may want a more brand name neighborhood in Tokyo as base of stay, but Ueno worked out well for us with good subway and JR Rail connectivity- very close to Asakusa , close to Tokyo Station and Imperial Palace, and used as a launch point for riverfront jog. Ueno Park is interesting in its own right with museums and a zoo. Fitness room very small. We booked a suite so space in room was not an issue.

Very nice hotel with very pleasant staff in an excellent location. The shower is terrific but the room is cramped and lacks a comfortable chair. The gym is decent and the restaurant is very good. The location, near Ueno Station, park and museums is superb.

I stayed in Nogha Hotel Ueno during my two week trip and it was the best decision I have made as the hotel enhanced my overall experience in Japan. The staff is very accommodating and kind to help if anything is needed. The room was in a clean and pristine condition my entire stay, and eco-friendly house cleaning is also provided as an option which shows their dedication to sustainability for the environment. The hotel also has a laundry room and laundry service which is very convenient. Location wise, it is about a 5-8 minute walk to the nearest train station and 1 minute walk to the nearest convenience store. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Japan to stay in Nogha Hotel Ueno for an accommodating, convenient, and overall wonderful experience.
