Very friendly staff and the location is excellent for using the subway (with many destinations accessible by only one subway with no transfers). Very close to the market, which has tons and tons of food and shopping options, less touristy than other markets we came across. Restaurant in the hotel is nothing exciting and overall not as good as the Nohga in Kyoto.

The hotel was within easy walking distance to Ueno station. The staff were very courteous and helpful when asked. The hotel has dining facilities, but unfortunately our schedule did not allow us the opportunities to utilise. Our days comprised very early starts and late returns.

The service from the staff was excellent. They welcomed us each time upon entering, answered queries, and helped us forward our luggage. Daily room service is available, and the room was kept clean and tidy while we were out. The hotel is well situated in a quiet part of Ueno, with Ueno Station only 5 minutes walk away. The hotel is reasonably priced, especially when considering the location and level of service. Thank you for having us. ありがとうございました
