Great location, but rundown rooms
Amazing location next to Akihabara station. Hotel is quite old and needs remodeling. The furniture and bathroom is outdated and everything felt crusty. The room was not the cleanest (massage chair cup holders had dirt and boogers, gross). May have been a nice hotel/room 10 years ago, but in the current state, is about equivalent to a 2.5 star hotel. Overall, stay here for the convenient location. But JR Mets East is in a similarly great location and feels at least 5 years newer!

The hotel has a perfect location - there are a variety of public transport lines passing by, a great bakery in the vicinity and a lot of shopping options It is comfortable, clean and highly functional, although the rooms are small. Bed was comfortable and the toiletries were great.

Best hotel I’ve stayed at! Finding the hotel was a little confusing as the hotel is part of another building and starts on the 6th floor. Regardless of that, the hotel was small, just like any other Japanese hotel, but I didn’t mind. There was also a massage chair which was definitely the selling point for me. After a long day of walking, standing, and traveling, the massage chair was so helpful for my first week in Japan. This hotel is great for any first timers or anyone in general due to convenience of EVERYTHING! The bathroom is separated from the room by a sliding door and has a see through window out into the bedroom. There is a shade that can be pulled down. We had cleaning everyday unless you didn’t want them to, then there were magnetic signs on the back of the door that you can post out front to let the cleaning staff know you didn’t want your room cleaned that day. The staff was wonderful and so helpful. The laundry was also good. The location was VERY conviennent. There was a Yodabashi (a major Japanese electronics store with MANY other stores) and many restaurants in the area as well. This hotel was also close to the JR train station, which is nice. Overall, I loved this hotel and would highly recommend anyone and everyone to go stay there. I would love to go back and stay there myself.

The floor in the shower room, there were several hair and the floor was red molded. During staying, the floor condition was same even they “cleaned” the room every day. No sign of vacuum the carpet. They supposed to clean the room between 10 am and 2 pm but when we came back the room almost 3 pm, they still didn’t finish it.

You’re basically staying above the Akihabara JR station. The trains aren’t loud at all, but you can hear the ambulance go by quite regularly. There’s a police station less than a block away, so it’s very safe, and plenty of things to do within a 10 min. walk. The only drawback is that Akihabara is pretty much on the opposite end of the Yamanote Line from some of the other popular spots. Personally wouldn’t suggest getting the breakfast package, the restaurants around the hotel are cheaper and offer a more unique menu. Also, the elevators sometimes take forever… but aside from that, it’s a nice hotel. The rooms are larger than that of business hotels, but smaller than most western hotel rooms, but they’re super clean, and the staff is very friendly.

Staff was friendly and great during check-in process. The issue was with the quality and cleanliness of the hotel room. There was black mold building up in various areas in the bathroom, stains on the linen, and grime on the massage chair. The elevators were extremely slow and inefficient, as the front lobby was located on the 6th floor. If you got lucky and jumped into the right elevator, you may be able to go directly to the 1st floor, otherwise, you'll catch yourself switching elevators at the 6th floor. Overall, location was great, however, the room quality and cleanliness was a huge disappointment.

Great hotel for our first time in Tokyo! The hotel is located right at a metro station which was super convenient. Lots of shopping and food nearby. In the bustling anime/manga area. Rooms are small but that was to be expected. Would recommend.
