Wonderful stay, cramped room.

I deducted 1 star for the size of the room vs cost. The fabulous stuff: staff. At check-in, Ms. Tu was welcoming, courteous and informative. She and the other young people at reception are helpful and always greet guests. The breakfast and lounge staff are wonderful and hard working. They are unfailingly polite and accommodating. A special thank you to Keiko, Kiyoko, Koyo and Harusa during the afternoon snack service. The hotel is clean and fresh. Bedroom and bathroom are well kept, with crisp and fresh linen, towels and pyjamas. Breakfast has quite a variety of both Asian and western foods. Worth the cost. Laundry facilities on a few floors, water dispensers on each floor and grooming amenities in the lobby. The not so good stuff: The room was quite cramped, lacking space to store/hang clothes and personal effects. Quite annoying when staying 6 nights. One side of the bed is close to the wall so getting into and out was quite a challenge for an older person. Purportedly a standard double room, but should be for a single bed and person. Definitely not worth the price we paid. Rubber soles don't glide well on the floors of the restaurant. Be careful of stumbling. Even the staff stumble at times. The hotel is in a hopping area, close to transit, shopping, restaurants and cultural activities. In spite of the room, it was a wonderful stay, fabulous staff, wonderful breakfast, good walking area and transit.

3rd time staying at this hotel and its quality is still as superb as the 1st time i came here. Its quiet, friendly and clean. Tokyo's hotels are notoriously small and this isnt much different but it still could comfortably fit my friend and I + our luggage.

Highest Possible Recommendation For This Hotel!

This hotel was absolutely ideal for our two-night stay in Tokyo! The location is amazing -- right in the center of Asakusa, which is one of the most fascinating and historically rich districts in all of Tokyo. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms and common areas were spotlessly clean and inviting, and the price was extremely reasonable, considering its location in a world-class city of this caliber!

Excellent place to stay right in the middle of everything in Asakusa. Family of 2 adults and 2 children and I chose a triple room and it worked out well for us. The welcome drinks are awesome too.

The Best Hotel in Tokyo

By far this is the best hotel in Tokyo that we have been in. The location is perfect. Very near-2 mins walk to the Train Station (Tsukuba Express Line ). Walking distance to all the tourist attractions, convenient stores, shopping malls and food outlets. Room is significantly bigger than most of the hotels around tokyo of the same rate. View from our room overlooking the tample and Tokyo Skytree without any obstruction. Hotel provides free flow coffee from the coffee machine near the lobby. They also help us with luggage storage prior check in as well as after we checked out which is very helpful.

stayed here with my family of 6, had 3 rooms with all beautiful views all on the same floor next to each other. staff helped us do luggage transfer to our next hotel which helped us out a lot. right outside hotel has shops, senso-ji temple and plenty of dining options. stayed here twice when i visited tokyo and will continue to recommend and stay here myself. love it
