Location is good walking distance to Shibuya station however for 1st timer finding the hotel can be a challenge even with a google map, functional room and clean with all necessary in room facilities. Many eatery and convenient store Lawson and 7-11 nearby. Staff is polite

Location was excellent as close to Shibuya Subway station and 5 min walk to shopping and Shibuya Crossing. Rain Shower and hot water was excellent! Property is showing its age though and could use some renovations. Room was small but ok.for our 3 night stay. Tv was not the quality of our 3 other hotels but we are not there to watch tv.

Property was in reasonable condition given the price that I booked it at. Building is a little dated but perfectly situated for getting around Shibuya. I would have rated it higher but a major downside was the bed. Most mornings I felt like my spine was being ripped out of my back. If they changed this they can easily have gotten a higher score. I’m sure I’m not the only person who has experienced how uncomfortable the beds are. Otherwise thoroughly enjoyed my stay and staff were extremely helpful in answering any questions I had.

Shibuya Granbell Hotel is the perfect spot for sightseeing and shopping in the local area. Shibuya at night is such a vibe, with so many restaurants to choose from. Yoyogi Park and Meiji Jingu are within walking distance too. Even though our room was compact, it’s clean and quiet. Hotel staff are friendly and check-in was effortless. Thank you.

Review of hotel room

The room was pretty spacious and comfortable, but the lighting in the bathroom was too dim. It was hard to put make up in that light. Bed was comfortable and shower was good.

The staff are really nice and are very competent in conversational English so it’s friendly to English speaking tourists. The staff were patient and helpful and they let us borrow umbrellas. They also let us store our luggage in a secure area before leaving on the train and they were very accommodating to our situation where we had two other people who needed to pick up their luggage and train ticket from them; due to the fact that they held on to it for us. The bathroom is spacious and has a lot of counter space.

Excellent Stay

Room is exactly what I expected and it’s a wonderful value. The front desk was very responsive and helpful too. The hotel is very centrally located in Shibuya near the train station. Would definitely stay here again!

An amazing stay, great English communication. Asked for flowers in advance for my wife’s birthday and Motherday. They gave recommendations, and upon arrival they told us they upgraded our room and had a note and bottle of wine waiting in room. Felt first class and was such an amazing start to our trip to Japan. Highly recommend this hotel.

The service was excellent, the were so helpful and patient. I couldn’t get logged into the limousine service, and they stayed with me until we got in. My phone, their phone and back and forth all with a smile and laughing when another problem came up. Room service were all very nice and happy to accommodate.

I was a bit disappointed because the room I got did not look like the pictures at all. It was much smaller and older-looking. However, my stay was comfortable and everything was clean, as well as the hotel was in a great location. The staff were great and helpful.

Very close to Shibuya station and very close to a lot of restaurants and convenience stores! The staff is very friendly, speaks English very well and were accommodating. The room was a good size and the bathroom was as well. The only thing that wasn’t the best was the bed and the pillows, very hard bed with pillows that don’t keep their shape.
