I’ve stayed at a few capsule hotels at this point, and as a short individual, it’s usually perfect for me. At this capsule hotel, you’ll be greeted by the smell of shoes once you’re at the reception. When you’ve made it to your own capsule, assuming you’ve booked one for females, you will find the showers completely full. The shared toilet area is extremely squeezy, and I felt claustrophobic with the steam everywhere. Overall, I was surprised by how bad my visit was. I kept smelling shoes around some parts of the women’s floor, as if it was wafting up from the reception.
Overall a fine place to stay. Not the highest quality sleeping pod I’ve used, but you get what you pay for. You do have to leave the hotel from 10am to 2pm every day for the staff to perform cleaning of the entire hotel. Luggage can stay in lockers, but all guests have to leave. So be aware of that. Bathrooms have plenty of personal care products and amenities, and the shower/spa room is fine and functional.
Very convenient location and great location in the middle of the city. You do need to checkout everyday so they can clean which can be inconvenient if you prefer to sleep in, but is excellent if you are an early bird or need to be encouraged to get out of the hotel to explore.
For the price and location there isn't much to complain about.
The only thing that I will complain about is the mattresses.
They are way too soft for how thin they are.
If I lied on my side I was essentially lying on the floor
If you want to experience a authentic Japanese hostel. This is the place for you. There will be some culture shocks. But thats pair for the course when traveling.
This hostel is in a really good location for night life.
Only did this because there was no other options. Felt like a hostel full of foreigners to me… Will avoid in the future.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
What a wonderful property !! I stayed in the 8th floor (all female dorm) and it was clean and very quiet. They had amenities (aside from toothpaste) in the washrooms so you don’t need to bring anything if you don’t need. They have lockers and luggage storage but i ended up keeping my luggage beside my bed. Overall the staff were very friendly, and it was a good location to catch transit and walk around. Plus there’s a pub crawl place literally beside the capsule hotel.
Pros:
-quiet
-clean, every female is given slippers and new towels clothes daily. Shoes have to be locked up downstairs
-personal locker for your items with key and lock.
-capsules aren’t terrible room-wise
-no curfew !
-the 8th floor door is locked so only women can enter
Cons
-because you can’t have shoes and have to lock them up the downstairs can at times smell like feet but there are worse things than this
-there is only ONE elevator, so checking out at 10am (as required) takes over 30 mins to get from the 8th floor to the 3rd floor just due to there amount of people leaving. There are no other problems with the elevator any other time of the day, just at checkout time. There are also no stairs.
-it’s so quiet that you can’t take a call on the floor. So, that’s a bit frustrating
-people leave their luggage open in the walk ways ??? This is not the capsules fault but the ignorance of others.
-bathrooms are only to be used on your floors/ the shared lounge bathroom is usually barricaded
