Situated quite close to Shinjuku but a bit removed from the major bustle of the neighbourhood, staying at the Annex was a great experience. The rooms are modern and clean. There is a funny high step to get into the bathroom, but aside from that, there is more space than your average Tokyo hotel making it a pleasant space to spend some time in after a busy day of visiting. You have the choice of two breakfast buffets with a wide selection of both western and Japanese food choices. There are nearby convenience stores and restaurants. A great choice!

Nice and posh hotel for 1-night stay. The rooms are SMALL, so just be warned. We were in the pre-Golden week time, so the rates were high. The breakfast was excellent, we opted for the Japanese-style so the room was almost zen like, overlooking a side garden.

This was my second stay at the hotel. Excellent again. Just be prepared for a walk to the station (but it is in a tunnel so easy and out of any rain)

The rooms were clean and spacious for Japan. The hotel is close to everything and walkable to all the areas we wanted to visit. We stayed in the annex and the hotel next-door had restaurants and stores that were very convenient. The hotel had a lot of extra amenities that were thoughtful.

The check-in/check-out process was very smooth and easy. The room was clean and well-maintained, we got fresh towels everyday. It is an approx. 15 minute walk to Shinjuku station. There are some extra little goodies on the reservation floor such as face masks, cleansing oil, face cleanser, face lotion, toothbrush/toothpaste, brush, razor, etc. If you’re packing light, this hotel is perfect to cover all your hygienic needs. The pillows and bed are firm, but they have rental pillows near the elevator on your floor that are much softer. The A/C is operated by buttons near the reading light (they look like intercom buttons) and you can’t adjust the temp, but it was at a perfect temp anyways and provided air circulation. Great stay!
