The stay went pleasantly well as the capsule was spacious for 2 people. The vicinicity included sleeping pajamas and slippers along with other supplies such as towels, toothbrush etc. It felt safe and the people we met there were very friendly.
The only hire that have a couple capsule. The room is okay and big enough for two, but I won’t recommend more than 1 night stay. Food choices are limited if you are vegetarian or eat chicken. The shower situation is shared... so if you are okay with it then you be fine. They provide shoes, towels, night pjs, toothbrush, lotion and all the other stuff. No WiFi in room just in lobby area.

If you're reading this review than you are obviously considering the capsule experience. I think this is the only hotel that offers a double option. My partner and I had approached this with some small degree of trepidation but in the end the whole experience was quite delightful. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the system isn't hard to understand. It's certainly not without it's inconveniences, such as having your luggage in the foyer and bathrooms on different floors, but it really is a quintessential Japan experience and highly recommended for a night. Pyjamas, towels and slippers are provided. Additionally we enjoyed a decent Indian meal in a restaurant on the way from the metro station, followed by a drink at a bar outside the mall across the street, and then watched Deadpool 2 in an almost empty iMAX cinema in the same mall. Sleeping was comfortable and cosy, though obviously not for the claustrophobic. It's also extraordinarily quiet, which is surprising as it is situated under a elevated motorway.
Place is really run down and tired looking. The cabin for couple is exactly the same size as the normal cabin, fits smaller couple.
The whole place is clean.
The bed is uncomfortable because you can feel the spring of the bed in the center. The bed must have been used for a long time.
My boyfriend and I spent one night in a double capsule and it was surprisingly comfortable. The capsule was spacious enough for us both and all of the facilities were clean. It wasn’t very busy when we stayed so it wasn’t noisy. I would recommend staying here for a fun capsule experience!
Tokyo Kiba Hotel is the only capsule hotel I could find in Tokyo that had capsules for couples. Wanting to try out a capsule hotel my boyfriend and I stayed one night. It's located a short walk from Kiba station with many restaurants nearby. The front desk staff was very friendly and provided us information regarding our stay in English. You are given a small locker which contains pajamas, towels, and slippers. Luggage is kept near the reception desk. The area is not locked but there is always a staff member present.
The double/couple's capsule is located on the 5th floor, which is the same as the women's floor. The men's restroom is on a different floor. The capsule itself was more spacious than expected. Though not the most comfortable, we were still able to get a good night's sleep. We stayed on a weekday and there were few guests on the same floor as us so it was nice and quiet.
The women's restroom was nice and clean. I did not take a shower/bath here so I cannot comment on those.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay but likely wouldn't do it again. We mainly stayed for the "experience" of staying in a capsule hotel.
It is a capsule, so similar to a hostel. Not at all soundproof, and the gentleman next to us was SO LOUD. And pillows that felt stuffed with styrofoam. Apart from that as expected!
By mistake we booked a capsule here - but it was the highlight of our holiday. Kind staff- with enough English, explained the system. Bags in the bag room, locker for hanging clothes, communal bathroom and capsules.
As usual in Japan, everything works!
Big bathroom has a spa. Girls use the big bathroom In the morning. Boys in the evening.
If you are travelling light, this is perfect. PJs, towel, toothbrush- even a hairbrush- provided.
The big question- whats it like in a capsule? About 4ft high and wide. Private - with a sense of community- cos you could hear people outside. All mod cons in the capsule- light, power and TV. Comfy pillow and mattress.
The hardest part was being organised- capsule on floor 5- shower floor 3- locker and bags on floor 2. Wifi only available on floor 2 also.
And it's really close to a subway station - so convenient. Perfect Tokyo stay.

A reasonable hotel to experience Japanese capsules
Certainly NOTHING like the room shown on the web page. And even after saying it seemed almost claustrophobic they did NOT mention till after we checked out that they had larger capsules!!! To upgrade was almost $200 N.Z!!!
Free internet- 100 Yen to start, free juice in morning Y200, NOT even 1 teabag /coffee sachet given, even on arrival!! Was cold or hot water though & big supermarket in the nearby shopping mall.
Tried to help give directions, but limited english
