Good budget hotel

First the good points. Very close to the train station, about 5 minutes. Check-in was easy via kiosk but front desk was there to help if needed. PJ’s were provided by the hotel. Breakfast was good with traditional and local foods. The hotel’s airport transportation bus to Haneda was very convenient. Cons: If you are on the larger frame size, this room is too small. The bed and the bathroom are both tight for large or tall people. Nor will the PJ’s fit. There is no closet and no drawers to place clothes and counter space is very limited. It was also within walking distance of a grocery store but not a lot of nice restaurants nearby. Overall it was good for a one night stop to catch a flight out the next day but not a place to set up a base for a Tokyo trip

Very easy to find (right outside Ottori metro station), good service and clean and (for Tokyo) spacious rooms. Breakfast buffet is diverse and good quality. Free shuttle bus service to Haneda airport in the morning.

This hotel was a short train ride from Haneda Airport, with a very short walk from the station. Though not luxurious was comfortable with small rooms. The breakfast was good. The shuttle back to Haneda was helpful for an overnight stay between flights from Tokyo to Sapporo for skiing. $80 for a night versus $500 a night for a hotel at Haneda.

I did not understand why the airport shuttle was only available from airport to hotel and not from hotel to airport. Very convenient lockers to store luggage after checkout. Nice breakfast.
