Wonderful apart-hotel, stayed 5 nights and did a day-trip to Hiroshima. Hotel was clean, everything worked, we used the washer-dryer every day, There are 2 subway lines a short walk away, lots of restaurants, temples, shrines and gardens you can walk to. Helpful front-desk staff, a free shuttle to the golden temple, discount on the chopstick making excursion which was fun, a perfect stay in a perfect hotel!

Our family of 5 had an excellent stay at Stitch. The property is well located and the layout of the room was perfect for our family. The facilities are top notch and having a washer dryer was so helpful. Great restaurants within a stones throw and easy to walk to so many places. The bathroom products were also lovely and I made sure to purchase them before I left! Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Room was very large, especially for Japanese standards. Staff were very helpful, especially with needs that arose during our stay. Convenient location, but be aware that it is also close to the bar and clubbing area of Kyoto. Still, it is far away enough that you are not disturbed by others.

Don't let the messy reception area fool you. This is a great place to stay in Kyoto! Fantastic proprietor, large clean room and comfortable beds. It's a great choice for a budget hotel and gives you everything you need for your stay.
