We stopped here on our drive across country for the night. We were glad we did. It was a beautiful hotel from right when you pull into the parking lot. Lots of lighting to light up the whole parking lot. The hotel is right across the street from Kansas State University. Walking into the hotel, we were blown away by how nice it was inside. Nice big area where the many choices of a continental breakfast is served. There is a full bar as well that had ample seating. Many couches and chairs spread throughout. A business center that we didn’t use, but noticed a couple people that were. Indoor pool looked nice and inviting, but we didn’t use. Small store for snacks, drinks and microwaveable food. The night receptionist was welcoming. She told us all about the property and what it had to offer. I’ve chest and vending machines on each floor. We stayed in room 413, that had 2 queen size beds (all that was available when I booked the room while pulling into the parking lot). The room is so nice! Clean, ample lighting and comfortable beds. Bathroom is very nice. My only issue is the shower head. The water pressure is very light. Either change from a rain shower head, or lower it another foot or so. I’m just under 62” and there is no way I could reach the knob that changes the way the water comes out. My husband was able to reach it, but he said the knob didn’t make a difference in the pressure. Next time I travel, I’ll definitely try to stay with this chain.

The hotel was nice, and the breakfast was well maintained with had a good variety of items. The one low point in the stay was the bathroom. It was the strangest bathroom layout I have ever seen, and our family hated it. I think that it was meant to me trendy and contemporary, but it was all about the looks and no thought was given to the functionality. The toilet and shower area were separated by a sliding door that left enormous gaps and gave no privacy. It was a good thing that I was traveling with close family, because from the toilet you could make eye contact through the gap around the door with someone standing in the room. And the shower was just as crazy. It had a glass wall instead of a shower curtain or door. So, there was a nearly 3-foot-wide opening that made it impossible to stay warm. And then there's the weirdest shower head placement. It was a rain style shower head mounted on the ceiling pointing straight down. As it was probably 8 feet off the floor there was no way to adjust or direct the stream. It made for a rather unpleasant shower experience when I was desperate for a hot shower after being on the road for more than 12 hours. Decent hotel, but the bathrooms need a major over hall.
