Very clean, very quiet. We were very disappointed that we weren’t allowed to use the deck. We had based our decision on the pictures of the deck, outdoor spaces are important criteria for us. There is no garden.

Clean accommodations and great location near amazing food. The property manager Vivian was a no nonsense professional who was completely transparent. I had no issues and I will for sure stay again.

I was pleasantly surprised with our stay. Vivian was absolutely lovely and welcoming. The room size is large, clean and comfortable. It was incredibly quiet at night for sleeping. Stayed on third floor the room - floor boards are very creaky I was okay with it but wondered if it bothered anyone below us. Three improvements that could be had - the last staircase leading to third floor could use refreshing, Food odor from others cooking wasn’t very pleasant, and lastly in this day and age why cash for final payment?! Very inconvenient and it made me feel like maybe my booking wasn’t legit. Luckily it was fine but seriously please accept electronic funds!

The host was super sweet and very accommodating! They had very simple rules to follow and everything was always clean and garbage changed out everyday. They have a beautiful functional kitchen with a place to eat aswell. It within close walking distance to everything and busy stops as well! The neighborhood is nice and quiet !! If i’m coming back to Toronto I’m definitely staying there again.

Wonderful Stay

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights. The location was convenient for public transport and they offered parking for extra fee. The room itself was nice, clean and functional. The experience was dreadful. The attitude of the owner and manager was extremely rule centric (200 rules for everything, do it like this or don't do that) and their attitude was to blame guests. The first night the extremely loud smoke detector went off in the middle of the night at 3:30am. It woke everyone up (like 10 ppl) freaked everyone out and it continued to go off for 20 mins. During this time the live-in property manager zoomed around to smell everyone's room (without asking) because she assumed someone was smoking/vaping in their room. After everyone insisted that they weren't (at 3:30am!) she refused to consider that there may be a problem with the system or the house. The next day all guests again insisted they weren't smoking, while the manager again insisted someone smoked. That night at 10pm while everyone was in their rooms, the alarm went off again. Same situation.. we all gathered and the manager got the owner on the phone. He also insisted someone had to be smoking. We had to shout at him strenuously that he should consider that there may be a problem with the system (longer stay guests reported that it had also gone off multiple times in previous days). Finally he agreed to send someone the next day. The alarm went off again that night at 4am. Wouldn't recommend.

Large room on third floor had private deck area. Ceiling fan didn’t work. Smoke alarm went off three times over three nights— no apparent reason, but it did make sleeping difficult.
