A nice hotel near the Toronto airport and City!

Smooth check in - efficient but had to ask lots of questions to obtain info. Front desk was nice enough but didn’t go overboard with the welcome! Room service: friendly and prompt. Cleanliness: excellent. Used the pool which I don’t often have the luxury to do so and it was clean and towels were restocked with maid service ensuring quality cleaning. Overall, a nice and comfortable way to spend the weekend. No upgrades were offered which is usually not the case and there was no out of the ordinary service offerings - but the operation is efficient and clean!

Front desk can be understaffed. From what I saw, there’s typically 2 front desk staff, but 1 is dedicated to airline crew check-ins. So the lines can get quite long during peak times (check-in and check-out hours). The room was very clean and pretty spacious for a standard room. The area around the hotel was quiet and felt safe. Shuttle service was convenient and very frequent, making it easy to travel to/from the airport. There’s also restaurants within walking distance (5 minutes) of the hotel if you don’t fancy the hotel restaurant. I stayed here to attend an Indian wedding in Brampton for the week, and it was convenient to uber (about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic). I went downtown once. It was a 50 minute uber, and quite expensive… so not really worth it. Public transit downtown can be quite far (about 1.5 hours one way), so keep that in mind if you’re planning to go downtown a lot.

Staff was decent…long line for checkin with 1 person at front desk… didn’t have room with view I booked, room was really small and dingey… issue with the tv - no one answered the repeated calls to front desk first night… next day had to ask twice for someone to look at it… never worked and never followed up. Restaurant had 2 people working and numerous tables of guests, waited 10 minutes with no acknowledgment and left. Parking lot is all ripped up and looks gross. Really, really disappointing from what I thought was good brand - clearly budget hotels are nicer with better amenities.
