Great location, but not value for money
The hotel is conveniently located downtown, close to amenities and the Eaton Centre, and the subway. It has a small convenience store, restaurant, a decent gym and swimming pool. However, it was a little dated. The rooms are fine for couples, but twin rooms are probably a little small for young families. It should be noted that the check-in times have been pushed back and the check-out times brought forward, even if your booking confirmation said otherwise; it would have been good if the hotel notified us of these changes, as we were travelling from abroad and had planned our itineraries around these times. The staff were generally friendly and a nice touch at check-in was the freshly baked cookies. It was quite expensive so all-in-all, not sure I would say it was value for money.

I really enjoyed the food at the hotel. Breakfast was good and I loved the hamburgers and fries. Warning the drinks are expensive! I ordered a margarita I t came in a small glass with a big square cube of ice so that means that small glass was hal full and it cost me $20.00

They some kind of air fresheners in the lobby spewing a mist into the air with a distinct odor which made my wife gag every time we walked through the lobby. I asked after a few days why and what for, the staff member told me that it was part of a distinct Double Tree smell they have at all thier hotels. Guess we will never stay at a Double Tree everagain!
