Overall the property and our stay were great. The hotel and our room were clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. The room seemed to have been recently renovated with modern furniture and the bed was very comfy. The hotel is in a good location; very close to city hall and Sankofi Square, and only a short 20 minute walk to the main attractions near the CN Tower. My only areas for improvements would have been to have an additional chair in the room; we only had the bed and an office chair to sit down. A more robust offering of room service options would have been nice as well. But these are minor issues and did not impact the quality of our stay.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing! The place was spotless, and we were warmly greeted by the staff with smiles and even fresh, warm cookies. The team was incredibly helpful and understanding throughout our stay. Our room was clean and ready for early check-in, which was such a bonus! Even after checking out, the staff continued to be attentive and accommodating while we waited for our ride back. Overall, this was the best hotel stay I’ve ever had – truly a 10/10 experience!

The property is modern, clean and inviting. The staff are all very kind and knowledgeable. We got off the train, went straight to the hotel and were able to get an early check-in before 11:00 am. The front desk gave very detailed directions for our shopping and venues. Will definitely stay there again. Breakfast was delicious, worth including with your reservation.

Put the do not disturb sign out from the night before. This is the first time I was awoken at 9:00am for cleaning. My stay coincided with Caribana and a Blue Jays game. Staff was overwhelmed at breakfast. Tables were just cleared for its new occupants, not cleaned as they did not have the staff to facilitate this. If it wasn’t a buffet there would have been a lot of unhappy guests.

I had a disappointing experience with the DoubleTree hotel in downtown Toronto. There was an issue with my reservation, and when I requested a refund, the manager was unwilling to help or offer any resolution. The self-parking area is extremely limited, and there’s no valet option available, which added to the inconvenience. Despite being advertised as a luxury hotel, the overall service and amenities fell short of expectations. I won’t be booking here again.
