The hotel was nice for an overnight stay and close to the airport, free shuttle was a bonus, the courtyard area looked nice but smelled of cigarettes as it’s a smoking spot. The room was ok but I had a barking dog in the room next to me and barking at 4:00 AM wasn’t pleasant, I guess it’s best to request a pet free floor and I did not think to ask before I booked. Good choice of restaurants close by which is always nice.

The room was very nice, modern and clean. We were there just half of the day, but it was very pleasant to be in this room. It is a good location; we walked 5 minutes to the street mall with so many restaurants. 😊

This is -THE -hotel close to the airport.
I had a 20-hour layover in Toronto and didn't want to spend it at the airport, so I chose this hotel because of its 24-hour airport shuttle—and I’m so glad I did. I arrived a little before check-in, but the front desk staff were incredibly accommodating, checking me in without any fuss. I always get nervous about asking for early check-in, but the receptionist was so kind and made it easy. The room was comfortable, with easily adjustable temperature settings, and the shower was fantastic with great water pressure. Had to be at the airport the following day at some ungodly hour, and the driver sped like we were being chased by Godzilla on a caffeine binge -10/10. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel and if I’m in Toronto again I’d happily stay again.

Rooms were not bad but it was weird the phones did not work for room service or to contact another room. There was some items in the room that could use some tightening up or fixing like rack in bathroom. I was not happy they tried to copy my friends service dog letter from her dr. That is a medical document and only has to be shown as proof of requirement for a service dog. This is not to be copied or kept by law by anyone. Beds are comfy and location is close to airport as we required. They accommodate my friend being on same floor as we were which was appreciated. The dislikes can be improved and are not a deal breaker staying there again. Hotel just needs a little up keep for 5 stars

So I wasn't familiar with the DoubleTree company, but since the 1980s they've been offering chocolate chip cookies to their guests, so it's all over their marketing. Makes it easy to identify their shuttle, which was very convenient when going to the hotel. If you're going to Downtown Toronto, it's convenient to take the shuttle to the airport and take a UP train from there. Unfortunately, when I stayed, their lobby area with couches was closed, otherwise I would've enjoyed the lobby a lot more since I was early to check-in. Their distance from the airport is only 10 minutes away, and they're close to many restaurants to it's easy to walk or order delivery. Staff was nice and offered early check-in for no cost, but I did have to sleep in the lobby for some time until that happened.

Rooms were clean and quiet , located blocks away from restaurants , there’s a Tim Hortons across the road. Beds were comfy our stay was good. The breakfast is ridiculous $23 per person and the buffet breakfast is not the best , food was dry , if you prebiy breakfast you can only do it for 2 guests so if you have kids ove 12 your paying $23 per person , instead go across the road to A&W and have a better breakfast for $5.99 each . It was nice to have the shuttle to pick us up from the airport and return us, glad I booked that when I booked my room because other guests who did not couldn’t believe the price of the shuttle and ended up calling Ubers to get them to the airport they said. Also you have to notify the desk when you are heading to the airport so they can book you in on the shuttle if not there may be no room and you won’t make it on time. But it was clean, staff was great, rooms were quiet , breakfast wasn’t worth it at all. Was nice to have the shuttle.
