Smelled smoke coming out of the bathroom vent on the first night I arrived. The maintenance people told me to keep the fan on and it would be gone, but I booked a none smoking room for a reason. Chormcast in the room didn’t work, maintenance people have no idea what I was talking about l, neither does the front desk. Boston pizza is their restaurant. I certainly won’t be back next time when I am in Toronto. $750 for there night stay. Your decision. Convenient location though.

I was dismayed. we book the hotel because of the hot tub but when we arrived there was no hot tub only pool because it needs repair. I even doubled check it before booking and the man said yes we have so I trusted his word but there was no hot tub for us.But our stay was great. Love our room at the end of the hall.

Rooms were very nice & clean. However, my children & I ( as well as other guests we met) were very disappointed with the hot tub & pool. The hot tub was so scolding hot we could not enter & the pool was very cold. When I informed the hotel they attempted to correct the situation the next day, the results were the pool was warmer than the hot tub so for our 3 day, 2 night stay we were unable to use the facilities we had booked the hotel for in the first place! For $305/night plus fees i found the hotel lacking.

We chose this hotel as a great alternative value in lieu of staying in downtown Toronto. Driving and parking in Toronto is fairly easy with reasonable day rates so there is no need to stay at a downtown Toronto hotel "for convenience". We chose Markham for its safety and close proximity to Toronto. Hotel was great with friendly staff, clean rooms, great bathrooms, easy and free parking, and fantastic breakfast menu (for a fee)! One odd thing that happened is the hotel charged my credit card for our 2-night stay even though everything was already prepaid for by Expedia. When I saw this duplicate charge on my credit card, I called them to inform them about the mistake, they apologized, and returned the duplicate charge.
