Don't get me wrong the location and overall apartment was amazing we had a great stay in that regard. Communication could've been handled differently. Lots of jumping through hoops to check in, the parking situation is an absolute mess, and support via email, in person, etc was lacking.

Great space, confusing check in.

Very nice apartment with an excellent view and a great location. It was so nice to have true 3-bedroom unit with two baths and a kitchen for my family. This was my first time using GlobalStay so I found the check in process to be very odd. I wish there had been more instructions when I booked it because I was caught off guard by their requests to send information via email a day ahead of time to check in, and it was stressful to find the guide. Definitely needed more information about how check in would work and how to find the person. Once we were in though it was great.

The Worst Stay Ever – Avoid at All Costs

This was by far the worst stay I have ever had. Before arrival, the property demanded unnecessary personal information (including photos of ID) and even requested a deposit outside the Hotels.com platform, with threats that check-in would not proceed otherwise. When I asked about parking, I was simply told it was “full” and to look around the city myself. Communication was a nightmare — emails took days, phone numbers never answered, and WhatsApp messages ignored. The only reply I received was one email promising a representative would come to my unit, but nobody ever showed up. During the stay, there was zero support. Coffee and supplies were not provided for the length of stay. The TV didn’t work at all because the remote was missing — a big issue for a family with children. For the last two nights, one of the two elevators in a very large building was out of service, leaving wait times of up to 30 minutes. There is no front desk, so if anything goes wrong, you are completely stuck. I also received endless repetitive emails from different agents, all asking the same questions but never addressing the actual problems. Five nights with no help, no functioning TV, broken promises, and endless stress. Absolutely not worth it.

Scammed us. Traveled 3 hours with my teen daughter to see a concert and stay overnight and refused to give room number or entry information upon arrival. We were left scrambling trying to find other accommodations with little time and out of pocket all of that money.

Overall, wonderful experience! I was originally hesitant about the check in process and security deposit link but good email communication helped answer all my questions. Parking was easy in the garage right below the building. Apartment was in a perfect, walking location for the concert at Scotiabank Arena. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to attend an event there!

The location was amazing. We told the property we would be checking in between 3-3:30, we showed up late around 4, there was someone in the apartment still cleaning it. The floor also had three pieces of flooring outside the bathroom that weren’t attached to the subfloor and created a tripping hazard. I will not stay with GLOBALSTAY again after this experience. The price was not enough of a savings when compared to the hotels in the area.

Location and views are 5 ⭐️. Check in was like a scavenger hunt and looking for a key in a lockbox, on a bench across the street, with hundreds of other lock boxes. Our WiFi was spotty on the road and once we gave 30 minutes away text, we got more instructions that we couldn’t open with slow WiFi. Frustrating! We even called them and we were referred back to emailed instructions which we couldn’t open. Unit needs a refresh as dirty carpets and breaking kitchen cabinets.

50th floor apartment

Place was clean, well equipped, comfortable with awesome views. It was bigger than we expected it to be. Plenty of hanging space and hangers. Bug screen on the balcony door meant we could have door open overnight to keep us cool. Needs refurbishing. Paintwork is tired, dishwasher broken, not working and front of dishwasher unit door hanging off when we arrived. Lots of random half used bathroom lotions and kitchen condiments which gave a feeling of being in someone else's home. Not much room in the bathroom to put your own toiletries. Washing machine needs a good flange clean.
