I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was very classy and nicely renovated with hints of vintage furniture! The elevator was very nice too. The staff was kind and helpful as well.

I recently stayed at the Gladstone House Hotel in Toronto, and it was a disappointing experience from the moment I arrived. There was an unpleasant smell that hit me as soon as I walked in, which set a negative tone for my stay. The room and bathroom were not only small but also uncomfortable and unappealing. The photos online were highly misleading, making it seem far more inviting than it actually was. After just a few minutes in the room, I knew I couldn't stay there. I promptly informed the staff that I would be checking out, but to my dismay, they refused to issue a refund. I was charged for a two-night stay despite only being on the property for about ten minutes. Overall, I left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

It’s our third or fourth time at the Gladstone and we love the property and staff. Always friendly and helpful, and even the small rooms are perfectly set up. Closest to many venues we attend. We will be back!

Very comfortable stay. Nice team. Monday and Tuesday internet kept dropping off throughout day and evening not sure if it was due to the weather. Nice atmospheric in the hotel. Always someone at reception.

Interesting to stay in an historic building but has been updated to modern comfort. Historic elevator was a little inconvenient because you had to wait for attendant but forced you to take stairs which was good exercise.

I stayed a few times at Gladstone as it's close to my office but also to a lot of cool bars and restaurants making it a super convenient choice. The hotel itself is beautiful and staff is friendly but the main issue is the noise: the old windows offer no insulation (while Queen is a very busy street with streetcars and train passing right next to it 24/7). This is a nightmare at night. The doors or ceiling also don't offer much protection from the noise coming from inside the hotel itself... So if you're coming to Toronto to party, great choice. If you need to sleep, bring earplugs.

My friend and I came for a concert. When we arrived, no one was at the front desk to help us and we were standing in the middle of a wedding entrance with no where else to go. It was so uncomfortable. It took 15 minutes for someone to finally get to the front desk and check us in. Tiny rooms, not overly clean & not great service. Would not recommend given how expensive this place is. Won’t be back.

Just a fantastic experience during my one night stay. Great fitness facilities, dinner was top notch, staff were very friendly and accommodating. I don’t drink alcohol and my complementary bottle of wine was easily replaced with some sparkling beverages. Comfortable bed, big shower, and provided robe were a nice reprieve at the end of the night. Would absolutely love to stay here again. About a 20 minute walk to Budweiser Stage; lots of shops and cafes close by. Streetcar stop right out front.

Great corner room
My husband and I book a corner room. The room was bright and spacious. Blackout curtains were remote control and perfect to let in as much as as little light we wanted. A bottle of wine with a handwritten note was waiting for us in our room. This boutique hotel is such a breath of fresh air compared to corporate hotels. So unique and friendly. We had a pool table on our floor. The shower and tub were a very good size. Would definitely stay there again and again.

Hotel did not honor Expedia reward points off the daily room rate. They waived parking fee which is across street in an underground parking garage they do not own and but forgit to advise garage personnel so they gave me an $88 parking ticket. was horrific stay do not recomnend the hotel.
