Stayed as a tourist and the facility really isn't built to accomodate tourists. The shuttle bus to the airport is extremely inconvenient and requires you to call in advance. This isn't a problem at the hotel itself, but coming back, the waits can be insufferable, and actually getting ahold of the shuttle driver is impossible without having first checked in. Taking into account shuttle wait times, you should expect a 1.5-2 hour journey going to and from downtown Toronto, which is extremely inconvenient.
The property offers breakfast, but it might genuinely be one of the worst hotel breakfasts I've ever eaten. Everything just tasted off, and I chose to skip breakfast everyday I stayed after the first.
To make matters worse with my particular stay, I was under the impression that I had booked to stay through the night of the 12th for departure on the 13th, however no one at the hotel saw fit to inform me that they had only registered me to stay through the 11th for departure on the 12th until the day of the 12th itself. They ended up charging me an additional $70 CAD for the extra night despite having the ability to catch this the day I arrived by simply not telling me there had been a mistake.
The only thing salvaging this hotel from a 1-star rating are the receptionists. Sunayna, Destiny, and Arsh are some of the loveliest and most attentive staffers I have ever had the joy of meeting.
Overall would not recommend, even if you're not a tourist.
