The staffs are friendly, and always ready to assist, the hotel is in downtown but super safe as tou can't get access in unless you are a guest. I love everything about the hotel and will definitely recommend it for anyone looking to stay in a hotel in downtown Toronto.

Staff were excellent! Room was very small but for 1 or 2 people it was fine, clean though could have used a deep clean. Beds were soft and With 4 pillows it would have been nice to have firmness options though all were the same - too soft! Toronto downtown is not very clean and noisy.

I took my mother on a trip to Toronto (our first time in Canada). We had a phenomenal stay. Breakfast was really tasty and worth the purchase. Staff was very helpful and welcoming, especially nighttime security Jason and the hotel bartender Darryl. The rooms were very clean, and housekeeping was very attentive. I forgot some toiletries and staff was nice enough to bring up to our room. We had an amazing view of the city & the beds were so comfy. The location is very convenient with a grocery store nearby, shopping center and restaurants. We will definitely be returning!

Didn’t realize that ‘the Holiday inn downtown Toronto’ is a 30 minute walk from Union station. Felt a little deceived by the name. Especially since I paid almost $500/night for a Wednesday night for a hotel that was amost in china town. But the inside of the hotel is very nice and clean and the bed sheets were very soft. Never went to the pool or restaurant.
