Unique setting. A room with 2 twins in the basement was near the underground subway, the bed mattresses were terrible and the tv didn't work. We were given a discount fir the inoperable tv.

Access was very inconvenient, stair only we were on 4th floor and are over 70 years old. No dining. Our room was across from the pub and it was unbearably noisy until 3am. It was a miserable stop on our journey

The receptionist is really nice and professional. This property is really nice and clean and tranquil, walkable area for food, highly recommended this place.

I very much like this hotel. It's very reasonable, has real atmosphere. My only complaint was that the TV wasn't working. But that allowed to do some productive work. I will certainly plan to come here again.

Best hotel stay ever!
Toronto is an awesome city on foot or by public rail, bus or streetcar. Madison manor boutique hotel is super convenient for this. In a beautiful neighborhood, China town and Kensington Market all walking distance.

Beautiful Victorian Hotel
The room was very quiet. It felt like we were the only ones staying at the hotel (we did see other people in the hallways). There's a huge pub as well that was filled with college students and once we got into our room we couldn't hear the music. The ceiling fan was broken but they put a standing fan in our room. I would have liked a hotel map in the room as there are a lot of stairs and exits.

Cozy, clean and convenient.
Location is great. Covenient pay parking adjacent to hotel, and steps from the subway and lots of shopping and food. Room was clean and cozy and the the building has a lovely charm. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was no iron or board in my room, but they brought one up to me when I asked. If you are looking for modern, it is not that and there are no elevators, so you have to walk up. If you don't mind that I highly recommend this spot.

Beautiful old Victorian mansion turned hotel. Has its quirks, and i like that. Our room had a little balcony to enjoy our dinner and coffee in the morning. The area is a bit rowdy on the weekends, as it's beside a pub.

If you get past the predictable noise from the neighbouring pub until about 3am, you’ll have a comfotable no-frills stay in a great location.
