Worst sleep of our lives. The beds were stiff as rocks and you can feel the springs underneath you. The room heating was terrible, it'd always be hot, and when you turn the AC, only that area becomes INSANELY cold. Breakfast was laughable. Terrible coffee and limited options. Monte Carlo was iconic 10 years ago, I don't know what happened since. The employees were nice though, please never outsource them.

The location is near to the highways for easy transportation & shopping. However, the environment is also quiet. The thing you can argue is the fridge as the temperature is not cold enough to keep anything "cold". However, all fridges in hotels all have the same issue!

First, the drainage of the bath tub does not work. Took a shower and water wouldn’t drain leaving stains in the bath tub and taking about 15mins for the water to drain eventually. Woke up next morning with a fully grown and full of blood bed beg roaming on the bed. Have me wondering if I have carried some along in my cloths going back home. Took a video and pictures of both instances and the staff said they would have to let expert examine it as they don’t know if it’s bed bug or not. I even showed them the tissue I used to kill the bug with blood in it and they acted as in disbelief.

Wasn’t cleaned very well (spotted a sock behind TV cabinet and some litter in corners) and housekeeping didn’t make my room on the alternate day that I’ve requested for cleaning (my DND sign wasn’t on).

The pool is way too small to accommodate the guests. The fitness area is way overrated and equipment is old and cheap. The breakfast is too low grade for the daily fee of the room. Paper and plastic cups for juice and coffee. You have to cart your own bags on a a trolly , no bell hop. For $160CAD per night, it’s not worth it.
