The lay out of this hotel was nice. From the outside looks like a regular hotel but as you enter it has quite the luxurious feel to it. Rooms were nice and pretty modern. Washroom a bit out dated with your basic soaker tub. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Room and overall hotel was clean and nice. Front desk was very nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay again

Best Place to Stay!!
Monte Carlo hotel is always my go to stay when traveling. From the hotel staff..very clean .rooms and quietest place to stay. It is close to many amenities and awesome authentic Asian restaurants. I always have the best rest when away from home and Monte Carlo hotel never disappoints me but accommodates all my requests...very affordable and secure friendly hotel.

I’ve stayed here before and will look to stay again. The staff and facilities are great for the price and the location is good for the purpose I visit Markham for. The breakfast is great but all carbs, maybe add a boiled or scrambled egg option to it.

As a female traveller with my daughter, the setup of this hotel did not make me feel safe. I felt there seemed to be a lot of men, randomly hanging around the hallways, main lobby, outside the entrance ways. This made me uncomfortable. I travel a lot for sports and work, and do not get frightened easily. Hallways were not well lit, and staff seemed scare or not really identifiable. Also buffet area was not all that clean. I would not choose to stay here again.

Bed were comfortable and the continental breakfast was good. Ample well lit parking and the area the hotel is located in felt secure. Some improvements could be to the pool which was kept surprisingly cold for winter. Would be nice if it was warmer. While staying there the elevators broke down and the fire alarm went off due to some technical issues. My door key was a bit problematic to use.
