I was offered a room in the basement at the beginning. The room itself is fine. But the basement is smelly that go into the room too. I requested to exchange to another room and the staff told me that all the room is full and nothing they can do. I went to the app and check it said there is room available. I went back again and they said if you want another room, you need to pay $50 plus tax extra to upgrade because it is a room with massage tub. I have to pay for it because it is really bad condition to stay in the basement. It is ridiculous for that extra charge even I told the staff I am not going to use that tub anyways. Is it my fault to make the basement smelly so I have to pay extra money to have myself stay in a better room?

Very nice place and the front desk people and the dinning service people are really good people. Room service also, most of the days were good, but one day the service person just in and out of my room, it means did not do anything inside the room. -- Person entered to collect the tips that leave for them. One day bad experience with one service person spoiled other's good service. So sad. :(

Ants beware

Ants in the room. Infestation. Told front desk and the response was to send someone with ant killer. When questioned about the poison were told to stay out of the room and keep the door closed. The bathroom was infested and my daughter had to toss some of her personal toiletries as they were covered with ants. I tried to contact the inn twice afterwards and heard no reply.
