Brilliant location in downtown Toronto. 5 to 15 minute walk to union station, Scotia Bank Arena, Rogers Arena, CN Tower, Waterfront, Hockey Hall of Fame, Lawrence Market etc.The staff were very helpfull. Rooms kept very clean and spacious with added bonus of a fridge. Food of good quality. There is an Indian, Steakhouse and Italian all very good quality right across the road. Couple of bars as well. The happy hour 16:00 to 20:00 is worth while, a small selection of drinks at very reasonable prices $5 for a lager or wine 😆

The hotel itself was alright, nothing bad, but nothing overly special. The issue I had was during the night the fire alarm went off. A very garbled PA system was completely inaudible, and there was ZERO staff presence out on the street so we fended for ourselves and went back in when we saw fire fighters leave the building. I feel there should have been someone trying to make sure everyone was okay (it was quite chilly outside) and keep us informed on returning to our rooms. I know we are grown, capable people, but it just left a bad taste that nobody was overseeing things and looking after patrons. Makes me question how their other services, which we did not experience, really are.
