This hotel is centrally located for exploring all that Toronto has to offer, situated in the downtown area. We were able to walk everywhere from the hotel. Secure keycard entry to the lobby at night and to access the lifts. The room was immaculate and daily housekeeping is offered. The bathroom was elegantly designed and the shower was simply brilliant! The onsite bar and restaurant serves a great range of food and drink at reasonable prices. Easy to get to from Pearson International Airport, we used the Union Pearson Express train and subway - much cheaper than a taxi, and only takes just over 30 minutes . Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Hotel is not what I expected based on the pictures seen on Expedia. The room felt old, merely 2 mugs in the empty kitchenette and skeleton staff at the small reception desk. I tried to settle my bill the night before checking out but was told I could only do that on the day itself. I was never informed about an item which was dropped off at the reception desk to me from a friend. Luckily my daughter was able to pick it up on her way out. Staff were friendly and pleasant. We were able to extend extra 2 hours before checkout, which was very helpful.

It’s ok, it’s not bad, but I did have issues (granted I didn’t raise with the front desk) but there’s definite room for improvement. The room decor felt dated, it felt dark, it felt like there was definite scope for investment. The appliances were dated, the TV was pathetic (awful choice of channels), but the bed was fantastic.

The hotel was quiet and nicely decorated. Not having parking on site was a con for us, but there was an easily accessible parking garage right across the street (beware of the treasures in the stairwell 💩 and smell). Our room could have used a deep clean - there was dust on some things, showing the surfaces hadn't been wiped in a while, and the same for the shower (bottom parts cleaned but some dirt higher up). Otherwise, it was great and cozy, rooms are big, staff were very friendly, and the area is within walking distance to so much.
