We were able to check in early and even got a room upgrade. The room was clean and the bed was insanely comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Convenient location walkable to everywhere we wanted to go.

The room was perfect with a one minute walk to the theatre, and the room was very quiet and beds were very cozy (saying a lot for someone with a back injury) allowing for a great sleeping environment. Front desk staff were very helpful, kind, professional, and courteous. They were clear that there is no parking or valet, and did indicate options, however, the public parking garage was not the safest (e.g., needles and stench), however, only $24 for one night. The city has changed sadly. Overall: We would stay here again.

Central downtown location next to Easton Centre. Enjoyed having a clean updated apartment style suite with space and laundry. Kitchen is quite bare (minimal essentials stocked - a few plates, cutlery and glasses no cooking pots, utensils or dishes), but apparently items can be requested from the front desk. Was perfect for a work trip.

The property is very nice, and the location is great. What we didn’t appreciate was the fact there was no cable TV for the night and next morning (not like we’re there to watch TV, but we do like to have the news on in the morning), and no compensation was offered. Telling us we can still rent movies (at $35 a pop!) is not helpful. Also, when we mentioned we were Expedia Silver members (as Expedia told us to do for an exclusive perk), we were told the property does not give third-party perks. That seems like a lack of communication between Expedia and the hotel.

It was a good stay, I was just surprised to discover I had to make my own bed. You see, four adults booked a suite with a pull out and a one bedroom king. The sofa bed people made their own bed and they had no blanket or pillow. We decided not to stay overnight after all, and left the rest of our party to drive home and sleep in our bed.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is clean, lovely decor in the room. Comfy bed. My only issue , is the noise from outside. To be fair, its right beside a hospital and general noise from downtown Toronto. Next time , am bringing ear plugs. Super convenient location to everything .

I stay at this hotel whenever I go to a concert at Massey Hall, which is about a minute walk. The rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable. There are several dining options within walking distance as well as in the hotel itself, which serves breakfast and supper. There are some attractions in the area nearby and the Eaton Centre is a few minutes walk from the hotel. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Pantages felt very overpriced for what it offered. We were told we had "the nicest room in the hotel," but it was underwhelming—oddly laid out, lacking in style, and with visible dust on some tables in the suite. The bed was comfortable, but that was one of the few positives. There was an old washer/dryer tucked into a closet, though we didn’t use it. Given the cost, we expected a much higher standard. On the plus side, the location is great—right near Massey Hall, which is a fantastic venue. Unfortunately, the hotel itself didn’t meet our expectations, and we won’t be returning.

This is my first negative review. Upon arrival the receptionist was busy on the phone with other guests which does happen but we waited around 15mins after a long ride from another province and checking in took a while compared to other experiences. No parking on site so we had to find alternative place to park at the Eaton centre a block away. Getting in to the room everything seems very outdated. Now here is where my regrets start for my stay at this hotel. First night I realised the bed was off. Next day, my back was killing me due to the soft sinking mattress and on top of that, no matter how hard I tried the faucets in the shower would not turn off completely so I could hear the shower drip throughout the night like the other comments. Another thing was their were no signal for the TV for the remainder of my stay so watching TV was out of the question! Also, the bar/restaurant management was a hot mess with terrible staff with communiction issues! As a VIP member of Expedia, the receptionist told us we get 2 drinks at the bar total of 29 CAD for free. So we went to the bar to redeem this perk. This experience turned out to be a bait & switch so be warned and use the perk at your own risk. And as a cherry on top they don't offer any free bottled waters in the rooms. Sorry to say my experience at this hotel was terrible and will not be returning ever again!!
