The Pantages hotel is our favorite spot in Toronto to stay for a few nights. It is close to Massey Hall when we come for events. The hotel has bright, spacious rooms. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

We stayed here on a cold windy winter night and were thrilled to find the walk to dinner and then the theater were both extremely close. This location was perfect for access to the theater district and center of Toronto while being one street back from Yonge which helped with keeping it quiet as well as ease of getting to and from hotel. We will stay here again.

The hotel locks its front doors past 11 (which is when our train got in) so we had to knock on the glass to get an employees attention to let us check in. While checking in the employee said the card reader wasn’t working and that he would have to write down my credit card info. When I responded skeptically he then remembered there’s another card reader which worked fine. The initial room we got did not look like the pictures and the water from the tap was white and opaque so we switched rooms. After switching we received a much better room that looked just like the pictures (and the water in this room was clean). Overall the hotel is not bad but this was a weird start to our stay that left us feeling uneasy.

Great hotel to stay

Great hotel! The reception staff are friedly and helpful. The hotel is clean and elegantly furnished. Extremely convenient to many restaurants, pubs, shopping, and to the subway station.
