A multitude of problems with the room: - Curtains couldn’t be fully closed, bright prkg lot lights shone in all night. - toilet didn’t flush easily… called front desk, they said they’d send someone. Nobody came. (it was also quite small, low to ground - like a kiddie toilet… I’m 6’4”, 200 lbs, late 60’s - quite the challenge. -TV flickered often, sometimes cutting out 7-8 sec’s. Remote control didn’t work at all. - Pillows were lumpy, seemed old, tired. Only nice surprise, newly renovated walk-in shower. Spacious, functioned well. Breakfast was pleasant, good variety… a better tasting coffee would go a long way. You’d have to make considerable improvements for me to consider another Quality Inn stay. A D G

This place is the biggest dive that Florida has to offer. The rack for your clothing falling off the wall. There is no water flow on the sink for hot water. I complained about it they came and looked at it said there's nothing they can do with it at this time. The carpet has not been vacuumed for probably over a month. The room smells really really bad. The toilet keeps clogging the water flow is so slow. They give you two towels for your room that's supposed to last you for the week. My bed sheets were dirty I had to sleep on top of the sheets because the office closes at 5:00. And i didn't see this till we went to bed.The free breakfast in the morning is non-existent even though it advertised free breakfast. The pool is there it's full but not been opened yet. They say they have to shock the water and it hasn't opened. I do not recommend this dive to anyone on any kind of a budget..

The first room we were assigned appeared neglected. It was located on the first floor, and the corridor smelled strongly of cigarette and marijuana smoke. Two nearby rooms looked as if they had been broken into, the doors had holes and the locks were damaged. The hallways also needed thorough vacuuming. Even before entering the room, I wasn’t expecting anything exceptional since this was a Quality Inn & Suites, but I certainly did not expect it to be this bad. The condition of the sofa alone said everything. It was heavily stained and looked like someone got brutally killed there. Combined with the apparent break-ins nearby and the filthy curtains and floors, the overall condition of the room made me feel very uncomfortable. I did not feel safe or comfortable staying there. I went back to the lobby and asked whether this was typical for the hotel, and they assured me it was not. The staff was very polite and offered to upgrade us to a different room. The second room was definitely better. However, after our initial experience, I still felt uneasy and as though I had to sleep with one eye open.

Everything went according to plan. I called from Terminal 1 for a shuttle pickup and the driver answered my call and said he'd be there within 20 minutes, and he did (it was after 10 pm) Check in was fast, and I was able to book our return shuttle for my preferred time the next day. Room was clean and comfy , breakfast was relaxed and enjoyable, and return shuttle went right on time.
