The building looks more like a condo than hotel but nonetheless the room was much better than we expected. It was clean and presentable, we had a lot of amenities, fridge, microwave, huge TV, bathtub etc. The bed and couch was super comfy, a/c worked fine in our room (119), the vent in the toilet didn't work though, not a big issue for us, the reception area is cool, there are snacks available for purchase. It it located right behind a Starbucks and Harvey's and walking distance to a plaza that had lots of food options, Tim Horton's, Dollar Tree etc. The only thing is there was a small hazard at the front where you could have tripped, looking at the place you probably wouldn't expect much, I'd say an average place to stay, maybe 3 out of 5 stars but we were comfortable, would stay again if we are ever in the area in future.

Run by young kids no customer service don’t have to talk we checked in 3 and didn’t get enough towels and blankets until 1130 pm mid night after making several trips to there counter

We stayed at the skye hotel and residence. The staff are not nice, the AC didn’t work and when you report same. Front desk staff behave as if your a problem. The housekeeping is the worst ever.

The floor very sticky, the sofa bed The sofa bed is filthy never been cleaned. The toilet is stuck on a first day there. TV remote controller is missing and controller doesn't even work when they gave it to us.

The hotel was nice. We enjoyed the room. But there were a few things that threw me off… firstly when we checked into our room the deadbolt was broken. We let the front desk know and they said they’d come fix it at 8am the following day but they didn’t. At 1 I had to go down and remind them about the door, they ultimately got it done that day while we were out thankfully. Secondly, I paid for a late check out because we had a late flight. It was CA $40. The day of our check out a women came to the door asking us when we are leaving and told us we have to check out. I told her I paid for a late check out. Then again at 12:30 a man knocked once on the door and before i even had the time to get there and respond he started opening my door… he told us that we have to leave and I told us them AGAIN that I paid for a late check out. mind you he was there at the desk when i ran the transaction. Get on the same page… over all 6.5/10

This property is not even close to all the beautiful photos on Expedia. Every photo from outside building, to lobby, to all the room photos all fake! Room dirty, no cutlery, no dishes, no glass, holes in wall dirty floors. My 4 year old son white socks black in 2 hours. Why do they provide kitchens there is no accessories to be able to use kitchen! I must say worst hotel ever, not safe outside, drug dealers everywhere and prostitution. This hotel needs to come down from your website

Skye Hotel is a nice hotel. Easy parking, prompt and friendly check in, rooms were nice with a full kitchen, sofa, office space, tv, full bathroom, washer and dryer bundle. Cleaning staff were friendly, efficient and provided towels and soaps. Green friendly or individual when needed. Restaurants, Starbucks and grocery shopping were within walking distance. Quick drive to mall, college, hospital or entertainment activities. Hotel staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Great demonstration of effective team work!

Property is new and still getting finished I think. Rooms were nice. Washing machine and dryer in rooms. Young lady that checked us in was very nice and recommended an Indian restaurant across the road with amazing food!
