The hotel needs a decent restaurant. Our “city view” room looked directly onto another room just a few feet opposite so not ideal. Good location particularly for Union Station.

This is a totally renewed strathcona hotel and what a gorgeous place. Very friendly staff and accommodated a late request for a room change. I’ll definitely go here again

Very convenient location for the UP service and for the downtown core. Lots to do within very easy walking distance. The staff at the Union are knowledgeable and friendly: this has become our go-to hotel when travelling to Toronto.

Overall everything was good. It was a short walk from the Union station. The check in and out was quick. Rooms were clean and like their water fill stations option. The only things would be no coffee, just tea bags and our window was across to another room so need to make the blinds were lowered. The a/c / heater was loud when it was on but was able sleep over the noise.
