We had a wonderful stay! The room was spotless, and the staff were incredibly helpful and genuinely friendly. Sofia went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. Her kindness truly made a difference. We travelled with two children, and everything was seamless and comfortable for our family. The location was perfect and made getting around so easy. Highly recommend this hotel!

Overall, my stay at JD Hyatt was decent but didn’t fully meet expectations for the price. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was polite and helpful. The location is convenient, which makes it suitable for short stays or business trips. However, the service felt a bit inconsistent, especially during peak hours, and the check-in/check-out process was slower than expected. Some amenities also felt average rather than premium. It’s an okay option if you’re looking for a comfortable stay, but there’s room for improvement to truly match the Hyatt experience.

My recent stay at this hotel was incredibly frustrating from start to finish. To begin with, the sink in my room was clogged, and the water left disgusting residue every time I tried to use it. On top of that, the blinds didn’t close properly, so I was woken up early by sunlight each day. The pillows were not supportive either. I also had an emergency at home due to a burst pipe, which forced me to cut my trip short. Because I had booked through Expedia.ca, I followed the process they outlined: Expedia contacted the hotel and agreed to refund my last night. However, despite Expedia’s approval, the hotel manager refused the refund without providing any reasonable explanation. The back-and-forth was exhausting and added unnecessary stress during an already difficult situation. Valet parking was another problem entirely. I used the valet only for one night, yet when I checked out after three nights, I was charged for all three. To make matters worse, when my car was returned to me, it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and the odor stuck to my clothes every time I sat inside. I asked if I could be refunded for the first night parking charge as a goodwill gesture, but I was denied. Finally, the gym water filter displayed a red status, which is concerning from a health and safety perspective. It’s a clear sign that basic maintenance in this hotel is being neglected. Overall, it is fine stay and I'll never recommend it.
