It was a beautiful hotel and we enjoyed our time there. Only issue I had was that when I checked in I wasn't informed of exactly what my reservation included. In the future I will be more proactive in this regard!

We have a great stay however there could be some updates done in the rooms. More specifically the bathrooms The toilets are very low and the “old” handle for flushing The shower also needs to be looked at The water would stop and start while I was trying to shower and the temperature would be cold when the water would start again

A wifi password was not provided at check-in. I only learned that it was available for a fee after check-in. When I told the concierge that this would be the last time I was going to stay at the Royal York I was given, with a one time exception, access at no charge. In this day and age no hotel denies free access to wifi.

unfortunately, when i got in the room the towels in the bathroom were on the floor and long black haris in the tiolet and the seat was up. Trying to overlook that the desk and side bed table were not wiped as they had glass and show dirt, finger prints, and hopefully just oil marks on them. However, the staff was extremely helpful and apologetic. They moved quickly to clean it up and make everything right.
