Our arrival flight was very early 7am and I called a few days before asking if we could have an early check in. Reception said they could not guarantee this but if the room was available when we arrived they would give it to us. We arrived at the hotel around 8am and they said the room was not ready. We said ok and left our bags at the hotel and went out to do other things. We came back at 1:40 and asked if the room was ready and they said it was not. The hotel was noticibly not at capacity, although they said it was. We said we would wait in the lobby till it was ready. We waited and the staff knew we were sitting there waiting and they just looked at us blankly for over an hour. As 3pm ( the check in time) started to approach, my husband went to the front desk and they said they had our room ready. We were so angry. I know that our room was ready before this. The check in agents were purposefully trying to show us that they had the authority to give us a room and they were making sure that we didn't get it till 3pm. We spent 5 nights in the hotel and it was not at capacity. The check in experience was BAD! This is not a bad hotel. The price we got for it was very reasonable but the service is poor!
