Accessible room, excellent as usual, Bed comfortable and room “serviced “ daily. Breakfast very varied choices catering for differing requirements. Coffee machines offering a full range of Coffees. Ample varied tea bags , sugars and sweeteners. Cereal dispenser and pots of porridge and individually wrapped Weetabix - plenty of Marmite 😁 and jams in individual portions and of course the lovely Kate and staff always attentive and clearing tables and restocking. 3 rd visit this year for us!

Some hotels you stay in look a bit dated. This hotel was refreshingly up to date and extremely clean. Lovely spacious bedroom and bathroom Staff we spoke to were very polite and friendly. Good choice of food for Breakfast. Although there is no car park, the Harbour car park is just arpund the corner and you can get a 4 or 8 day permit which enables you to park in any Torbay Council car park. Will go back to Torquay and no hesitation in booking this hoteal again.

A decent hotel with good, spacious rooms for a family of four. The staff were lovely and the breakfast options were great. My children especially enjoyed being able to make their own waffles with Nutella. We had a great stay.

Stinky smells in room 208 as you open the door.

The place is just walking distance to the harbour, restaurants and shops. Breakfast are good. Comfy bed. The only worst thing is it smells so bad everytime we open the door going in, it’s only that part immediately open the door from outside. I don’t know where it is coming from bcoz it don’t smell in the toilet, not inside the room. Only upon opening the room, maybe from the vent. I didn’t bother to inform the staff in reception as smell fades away. I should have really. We stayed in room 208. Kindly inform the hotel so they can check please.

A well located modern hotel with a heart

The services of the hotel were excellent and the staff were very helpful and polite. They worked extremely hard in all departments especially in the hotel rooms which were daily cleaned. We asked for a change to the feathery pillows and duvet and that was done immediately. The hotel is in an exceptional location near to all the services such as buses and shops. Close also to the restaurants by the harbour. The open plan breakfast arrangement is excellent and the staff worked very hard to get the food out and so all the hot and cold food were available. We were very pleased with our stay and the backway entrance to the road leading to the harbour is a gooldsend!

A real mixed bag. The hotel is generally ok. Pretty standard chain place. Our room wasn't properly cleaned though (we found toenails on the carpet) and breakfast was really poor - they ran out of something (milk, eggs, porridge...) long before breakfast was meant to finish. Not an awful experience by any means but would struggle to recommend.
