We had a wonderful weekend as a family of four, staying in a one-bedroom apartment. Although we slept on a sofa bed in the lounge area, which wasn't very comfortable, perhaps investing in a new sofa would help. The kitchen was well-equipped with an oven and a large fridge-freezer. The leisure facilities were impressive, featuring several pools as well as a hot steam room and sauna. While we didn't dine at the restaurant, we enjoyed a couple of drinks there, although they were a bit pricey, prompting us to venture out for food and drinks on most days. We ordered from Deliveroo on the first evening, which was quite convenient, and we also had an amazing curry at a restaurant called Tariks, located on the road from Torquay to Paignton. Although the exterior didn't seem glamorous, the food quality was exceptional.
While the hotel itself is somewhat dated, it served perfectly as a base for our stay. The staff were welcoming and friendly, always available to provide helpful information. We would definitely consider staying here again.
