Good place to stay after Capitol Reef NP

Warm reception, comfortable room, and very good restaurant and particularly good server. Bathroom a little dirty.

We only decided to stay here because they had added 4 EV charging ports. We relied on having them work but they only put out a VERY limited amount of charge - 3% in almost 3 hours!!! We needed to get a full charge in order to even make it to the next charging facility and at that rate, it would have taken more than 2 days to charge!!! The hotel management needs to spend a few hundred bucks at most to upgrade the circuit breaker to enable more charge capacity for the chargers it installed. This is not a place I will stay again.

Cute property with motel style rooms and also “sleep in a covered wagon.” Clean, safe, remodeled with value. Only negative was the included breakfast was very basic. Staff, location, well appointed rooms more than makes up for the basic breakfast fare.

Superb place and amazing restaurant

Everything was wonderful. The atmosfere, the restaurant, the rooms were amazing. They have an excellent menu for dinner in the restaurant. Only one issue was the pillows which were very uncomfortable.

This place is a little slice of Heaven! The minute we drove in we knew it was going to be great. Diane at the front desk was such a sweetheart and was so knowledgeable about the hotel. Dinner at the hotel was very nice. The biscuits are so yummy. We had steak, chicken and shrimp. Everything was delicious. Do yourself a favor and stay for a night or two. It’s only 15 minutes from Capital Reef National Park.

I felt it was overpriced. The brochure in the room stated that there was toothpaste and razors available for free at the front desk, which is a nice touch. But when I went there and requested the toothpaste, the employee had no idea what I was referring to, and they didn't have any toothpaste anyway. I know it's a steakhouse, but I would have appreciated better healthful and/or vegetarian options. There really is limited offerings in the area, and I would rather not have to leave the property if I don't want steak or meat at all.

We stayed in a regular room and the Conestoga wagon. The room was very clean, accessible and a great place to stay. The wagon was great. Beds were cozy, clean and a wonderful experience We met two couples that rented a room and we showed them the wagon and they said that they sorry they didn't rent one. breakfast was very good and the steaks for dinner were great! ..

The staff were very kind and the dinner was truly delicious. Kids loved the wagon and campfire But,,,The heater was noisy and didn’t function well, and the strong wind made the wagon shake and feel even louder. I would recommend noise canceling airPod for the wagon.

Such a perfect place to stay right near Capitol Reef! The entire facility was super clean and had so much to offer. Pool and hot tub were nice, breakfast was good and the steakhouse was awesome!! Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
