We loved our stay at the Broken Spur Inn and Steakhouse! Close to Capitol Reef and the road to Scenic Highway 12 is literally across the street. We had dinner at the on-site restaurant the evening we checked in and really enjoyed it. Their ribeye steaks are huge! There are Conestoga wagons you can stay in, but we opted for a regular hotel room. The property is surrounded by beautiful mountain views. There's a pool and hot tub as well, although we didn't have time to use either. Breakfast is complimentary and offered a nice selection. The gentleman who did all the cooking for breakfast was very friendly. You can tell he enjoys what he does! We would definitely stay here again if we ever get the chance. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so pleasant.

Check in desk staff was very pleasant. The room was clean. Breakfast was poor and the restaurant was horrible. The food in the restaurant was awful and servers were rude. They assign you a table and won’t give you the table you like. We didn’t like a food and service so we didn’t want to tip them. However, they argued with us and tried to force us to give them a tip.

Carla went above and beyond to accommodate an additional night stay and helped to arrange medical appt when got injured on hike. She was always helpful and so nice as well as all other staff. The steak restaurant was terrific.

Good Place to stay while visiting Capital Reef NP
The Inn was a nice place to stay if you are visiting Capital Reef NP. The room was good and we made use of the laundry facility. We had breakfast which was ok and included with the room. There are no elevators so make sure you ask for first floor if you have lots of bags.
