Listed as a 4 star hotel, in rating and price. Didn’t seem 4 star. Staff was very nice. Only there for a night to tour Capitol Reef NP the next day. Suited our needs just fine, just not as advertised.

This rustic resort is very convenient right outside of the Capital Reef National Park. The resort has a nice pool and jacuzzi we used when we arrived too early for our check in. The view from the covered patio of our downstairs room was spectacular. The restaurant on site was very good for dinner and breakfast.

Nice stay convenient to National Park.
Very convenient to Capital Reef Park. Property is located along the major east west highway between the Park and Torrey. Slightly older property, but everything was very clean and worked well. I especially liked the Keurig in room, and the fire pit in the evening. The restaurant on premises was good. Some in our party enjoyed the pool. I'd stay again.

The views from the property and the location were outstanding. The room itself needs a facelift but was comfortable. The restaurant was mediocre. There are lots of other restaurants in town, so we would recommend passing on the resort restaurant.

The property was well maintained and clean! It had a restaurant on site. The breakfasts were excellent and worth the cost! It would make a great place for families to stay! It had hotel rooms, cabins and Teepees!

What a cool place! We stayed in a room / but the covered wagons and tee pees would be amazing!! Fire pits and s’mores available. Hot tub and pool so nice. Restaurant on site- can also walk across the road. Very unique find. Great location for visiting parks.

We stayed here 2 nights while on our Mighty 5 park tour. We were in the hotel attached to the restaurant. The rooms could use some updating and a few plug ins added. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant had great service and the food was good.

Pros: Great setting with beautiful views and very close to NP. The room was decorated with a western theme. At night there are fire pits that are gas powered so no need to worry about firewood. There are some convenient restaurants 5 miles away in Torrey. Cons: The rooms in the motel part of the resort are nicely decorated but they only have one chair outside. The other rooms have two chairs and a table. The motel chairs look like kitchen castoffs and are not comfortable. We arrived at resort at 3:20 and were told check in was guaranteed at 4 and our room wasn’t ready. Onsite restaurant is pretty basic.

this is the closest property to the National Park. Breakfast is not free but they have good breakfast options in their restaurant.

The front of the resort looks nothing like the photos and we asked ourselves if we were in the right place. If you book a room rather than a cabin, wagon or teepee, your accommodations are very different and in fact your view is of the highway. The pool is nice but much smaller than it appears in pictures.

We loved our stay. Beautiful view from the property of capitol reef. Room was very nice and pool and hot to were great as well. Only issue we had was the shower took almost an hour to drain. We would definitely stay here again
