I believe this is a very good place to stay when you are in Torrey, out of the town in a clean secluded corner. Would definitely recommend it.

One of the best of the best.
We were a little apprehensive, especially after reading a negative rating, but were more than pleasantly surprised. While the room had no phone or clock, we couldn't have asked for better accommodations. Everything was squeaky clean. Internet was adequate and TV reception excellent. Beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the carpeting has padding under it -- something many motels don't install. And the view of the mountains was breathtaking. We'd recommend it to anyone.

Cute place with great view.
Was surprised there was no elevator for our second floor rooms. No-one at desk when we left. Restaurants were limited at this hotel. Check-in person was friendly and helpful. Room was great size and comfortable. We would stay here again but likely drive into town to try other places to eat if we stayed more than one day.

The property was clean and there was a restaurant and gas station next door so that was convenient. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The outdoor view was nice. We didn't see many staff so can't speak to that, but we didn't really need them as the checkout process was simple. Check-in was the only time we saw a staff member and he was efficient. We would stay here again.
