No warm welcomes but great place to stay in Torrey

We arrived a few hours early. The person at the front desk seemed irritated that we were there…which I can’t imagine doesn’t happen since most people are driving there after a long day of driving or hiking as Torrey Utah isnt exactly an easy access place. Nonetheless we returned after check in time and received our two rooms immediately. Again when we asked questions about the area, the person behind the desk wasn’t that knowledgeable or it felt, perhaps not that willing to converse with anyone. The room was very clean and beds/pillows were super. The views were even better from the 2nd floor balcony. I would stay here again with the understanding that we would not expect a warm welcome but still enjoy our stay.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The only criticism is the man on the front desk is not at all friendly. On the phone you can hardly hear him and he does not want to help with any questions.

Everything was clean, and the bed was comfy. Nice place, grounds were very well kept snd pretty. Only negatives were.. 2 washers-coin op $2 to wash- 1 dryer. same price. It was pretty busy so that was a problem.

Beautiful location. Nice guy at the desk. Got us set up with a big beautiful room which looked out over the edge of the Capitol Reef NP. Beds were comfy. Fridge kept our food cold. Nice set up. Bummer to not have any close breakfast options but we ate our leftovers.

Great Stay

Great location between Capitol Reef and Torrey. Large clean rooms. Ben was very helpful and even suggested a special unexpected nighttime activity. La Cueva Mexican restaurant at the hotel had awesome food/drinks.
